One word........ENERGY!

You are good as your last game in Ny. Maybe it was just him happy to be back or nerves. Whatever it was......it wasn't something the Knicks should simply chuck in the name of 2010. I'm gonna go home and watch the game in full when I get home tonight.

Give your thoughts on Low Fat Curry.

Curry really impressed me tonight, he looked energetic & was going after it in the post... pumping up his trade value should be our #1 priority right now.

if we sign AI i would run him in the P&R w/Curry everytime they're on the floor together & have Gallo float on the perimeter for the kickout off AI's penetration.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I like the option of having a real post guy on the team....Indiana defense couldn't handle him. Eddy didn't look tired which was great! He still is slow to react to rebounds, blocked shots and passing....but he knows what he's gonna do when he gets that ball and thats finish.

There were 2 straight plays in the 4th where eddy got stripped cuz of triple teams and poor spacing. Knicks have a hughe weapon down there.

Now just sign Allen Iverson and waive Duhon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't waive Duhon, start Iverson but he has to rest as well, he's 34, we'll get a bit of balance like that (hopefully)

Eddy looked good, looked motivated. We haven't seen this type of desire in his play for more than a year. And it's true, if he can keep up with the pace of the game, he is more than a handful for any team down low.
Assuming Eddy shows he can play 20-30 minutes a game, you get AI, start:

Iverson
Hughes
Gallo
Harrington
Curry

Everyone can hit the open shot when Curry's doubled on the post. Iverson not a pure point but clearly a hall-of-fame offensive threat and he makes good decisions with the ball. This is actually an excellent defensive backcourt. Duhon never makes it off the bench. 2nd team is Nate, TD, Lee, Chandler, Hill. Occasional Darko sighting.

The next thing needs to do is work on high/low game with Gallinari and Curry. This would the game easier for everyone.

Curry only seemed to understand the "low," yesterday. Will he really be able to learn how to be an effective passer from the post at this point?

Looked pretty good though. Promising start.

Hibbert was not able to push himself into better position with Curry's lower body blocking his way.

Is he going to stay healthy?

Keep Eddy Curry.

Watching Slim Fast Eddy play the post for another NBA team will not be so enjoyable as some may think.

His immediate impact on last night's win (the operative word is WIN) was the best reintroduction to the NBA that could be hoped for.

The amateur GMs who assume he should be dealt, and the writers who assume his escape from from New York) need to have at least one experienced 6'11 replacement ready to step in.

We actually had an inside game last night, you can see a little rust on him because a lot of those fouls he would have finished and get the and one. I too think we should hang on to him a little longer for the mere fact of the lost post presence.

no thanks. take the first offer for an expiring. i'd much rather take a chance with more free agent dollars next year than i would with eddy curry.

This made me laugh... good thing we got rid of Isiah huh? Iverson, Hughes, Harrington, Curry... sounds like a lineup only Zeke could love. I'd actually love to hear his introduction speech with AI and his spin on how the ultimate group of chuck and duck players makes us a contender.

JohnWallace44 - Chris Duhon or Allen Iverson?

It is only a rental to pacify the natives. It does not make the Knicks a contender.

It does make them news worthy. Never forget that Cablevision is in the business of selling news.

Yep... Nice playground band of brothers. Galo is kind off out of place here.
Trade Galo for Stephen Jackson and this will be ultimate dumb and dumber group.

I thought he had a big impact on the game. It was great to see a big 'physical' presence at the center position for a change. It was also good to see someone other than N8 or JJ skinny get in someone's grill for a late push. I thought the double technical and Curry's energy and physical presence helped change the game.

Thank you rookie.

It could be time to let go of the past. Why not play them one at a time?

Yeah, not criticizing Donnie on this specific roster issue, he's left with no options at this point, but somewhere Steve Franchise and Steph are sitting in a truck enjoying tubs of flavored vasoline and sharing a laugh over the Knicks "new look" roster.
