Given that only Jeffries, Curry, Gallo, Hill and Douglas have contracts that extend beyond next year, and given that we probably won't let all of them walk away, who would be your top choice to bring back?

Personally, I'd go with Hughes. Ever since he was benched, he has played very well. Still takes dubious shots, but other than that, I think he's been a net positive. One of the few...

Nate.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

none of them... IMO Hughes won't sign for anything less than a MLE level deal & even tho i love how he's been playing this year, he's just not a fit for the longterm plan... plus i don't think he'll wanna stick around past this season either... Lee & Nate are gonna be gone after this season if u ask me & obviously so is Duhon... i think Harrington may have a slim shot of sticking around because he loves playing here & Donnie seems to like him.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Harrington is Donnie's boy. Duhon seems to be D'antoni's boy. I just hope somebody has some sense and ends this Duhon obsession.

Otherwise I agree.

Depends. If the team is put together decently Nate could have a very useful role, but with Douglas, there is probably more of a need for a pure point as opposed to Nate and Douglas' somewhat overlapping skills.

Al would be a nice reserve as well, but at what cost.

I would lean towards none of them unless we're getting them at vet min deals.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Harrington. He has expressed a willingness to do whatever it takes to be a part of the Knicks future. That means lesser deal, bench role, cooperation with the plan, and some actual leadership ability. Plus he is a good guy and a positive teammate in the locker room.

Hopefully N8 will be gone with Curry in a deal for an expiring and pick. I would have said Lee, but he is just too flat footed and weak on D. Much as he hustles and does the garbage work, he is not a good enough scorer to justify having such a liability on defense. So he gots to go. Dudu should just be waived or bought out. He seems to have given up.

If Lebron and / or another major name come in with leadership abilities enough to keep other egos in check, I'd bring back Harrington and Hughes. If they can play the way they are now but accept lesser roles (and money) to be a part of sure winning team, that would be great.
