Did you read what I wrote? I said Lee for Anderson and Redick...
I misread it. Maybe they would do Redick for Lee straight up but no way they trade Anderson and Redick.
And I am not sure why they would want Lee when they are covered right now with Howard, Gortat, Anderson, and Bass. It doesn't add up.

Well you know what, we ain't trading this guy then. Too many factors involved -- he has to first approve the destination (he's not gonna uproot himself to just go play anywhere just for the year if he had no intention of signing there long-term, we'll require a good young cost-effective asset or two and/or a pick or two back to rebuild with (I can't picture most teams willing to give up assets like that unless they're close to winning it all), and you figure the team interested would have to be a halfway good team already - a team that's close that would view him as a piece that may get them over the hump. There aren't that many that come to mind - Portland, Dallas and Orlando are the only ones I see as remote possibilities -- good teams that could use him and teams he might want to go play for. Or maybe something with NJ built around their surplus of SGs (with NJ he stays in the area and wouldn't necessarily have to sell his home)...Not a lot of options out there. If anyone can think of anything else, have at it...I think I agree with DJ, he probably plays out the year here and then both he and the Knicks will go from there..
Quickly on the Orlando scenario -- the idea is whether or not the Magic would view Howard and Lee playing together as more attractive than Howard/Anderson right now. Remember this team is right there with any team in the league but are they good enough to get out of the Eastern Conference and then win it all? I think they might be, but does David Lee put them over the hump and make them even better and give them an even better chance of realizing their goal? I think he might. When you're this close, you go for it no? Lee might give them a better shot at winning it all right now over Anderson, even though I think Anderson's a fine young player that could be even better than Lee down the road. Lee had more double-doubles than even Howard last year. They were 1 & 2 in the league in that department if I remember right. Howard/Lee could be a lethal, winning combination not to mention Howard is the perfect guy for Lee to play with - he'd cover for all of Lee's shortcomings. Lee could settle in on that team, return to playing his natural position at the 4 and just concentrate on doing what he does best - rebounding the hell outta the ball and scoring it a little bit. And they'd still have quality depth behind them with Gortat and Bass...Redick had only started playing a little better recently when Lewis, Carter and Pietrus were all out at different times, otherwise he hasn't done too much for them. With all three of those guys back healthy, I'm not sure Redick even plays that much anymore. I could see Orlando pondering the possibilities with a move like this..
