I agree. He wants to start a new number, then use his #9 from the Olympics. I don't think anybody in the history of the NBA has made that famous...yet.

LeEgo is so full of crap.
He probably saw Kobe do it and make all that new money off of jersey sales and now LeEgo is going to do the same. He's using the Jordan thing as a cop out. If nobody should wear the number again why did he select it when he entered the league?
If we land LeBron next summer, that's great, but this guy is an arrogant prick no two ways about it.
He's not personable in any way. He's not funny. He's not witty.
He needs to STFU and just play basketball.
And while I'm at it I'll get on him for that as well. As I have said in the past there are times where this guy actually cruises through parts of the game. Plays with low intensity. That's scary because imagine if he had Jordan's "play tough every play" mentality? He could be the best ever.

I hate the Cavs. Cleveland is one of the most disgusting crime ridden cities in the nation. And as long as LeBron isn't a Knick I don't like him at all.

I don't think NBA players make money off of jersey sales....but I'm not 100% certain.

I applaud his effort to recognize Jordan but come on, the new number is 6?

As Kam said, way to honor one guy and then disrespect two legends (especially Russell). LeBron pisses me off sometimes....though I still want him in a Knicks uni like everyone else.
