Long Branch NJ 745am. 8-12 footers. I'm standing about 10' above the surf on a seawall so the camera is about 15' above the surf. It's a cheap camera so the perspective is off - the surf is bigger than it seems.

I always wondered how you taped the knicks games.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I tape Knick games via a TV Tuner card that I installed in a vacant slot. Cable goes right into it and TV displays on my monitor through the motherboard with audio jumps to the sound card input. Software comes with capping ability. Comes with a TV remote.

Today, that's just a regular old digital camera I ran some video with.

You know what's crazy? Back in 1994, or so, my first computer was a Compaq Presario. It was 'da shizznit', and it came with a tv-tuner card preinstalled. After that, you never saw computers with them preinstalled. I wonder why they did it on that one computer.

LOL no one needs to see that.
You'd be better off watching me drown instead.
Which I would most certainly do if I dared to enter that water.

Interesting.
Yeah, I always felt computers should all come with a high powered all-in-wonder video card, fully installed memory, and a large hard drive.

The fact they didn't drove me to build my own...at like 1/3rd cost in the end anyway. I built two systems 6 years ago and they're still perfectly fine. 2.4ghz and 2.8ghz - 1gig memory each. They're so old there's no upgrading but they still run great.

looks a little choppy for surfing, otherwise it'd be tempting. I read that a guy drowned out in Rockaway yesterday trying to surf the storm.

sell your printer so you have enough cash to build a new computer - it's about time for a new one!

LOL. Printer broke over the summer for good.

I will run these two into the ground before I build my next one.

Outside of probably making good with more memory? They're fine. Hesitant to tinker though...
