When the Lakers get down to C # 3 in the rotation and he is giving you
7.5 points 13.5 rebounds 4 blocks in two wins--is it a surprise and they are paying this guy nothing.
We have Darko who looks like he would like to be anywhere but here as our main 7 footer.

I read a couple of stories and thread where some people give Mike D no blame and put it all on the players. But I havent heard him say a word about protecting the basket since he was hired. Our lane continues to be a place where you can move freely to the rim. Because he demands that everyone be a shooter--we are going to lack those pieces that are necessary for cohesion--especially on the D.
I really do believe this is why he is not in Pheonix and why Chicago balked--and definitely a main reason why we are regressing faster than my hairline.

Chicago balked? I thought it was widely reported that Chicago thought they had a deal and Mike decided he wanted to goto the Knicks.

I wanted Darko here, but in the little time he has played has hardly been inspiring. Don't know if injuries over the years have slowed him down, but I have seen a few guys go over him, and have not seen any fire in his game. He hardly plays like a guy who is playing for a contract next year. I have to wonder if he knows he will be playing outside the U.S. next year.

If he plays the kind of D he has played in the past, and shows the ball distributing skills we have seen flashes of this year, he should get more time on the floor.

With the way the team is going, I don't see why MDA won't experiment with certain lineups at some point in the season, but if Darko does not want to be here next year, I would prefer to have Hill be baptized under fire and get him 25-30 MPG.

jimimou, it is over. Like Duhon said, "we lost the game during warmups." Well, the Kincks lost the season during preseason. Unless, Walsh brings in AI or Nate comes back and goes on a 30 pts per game scoring spurt like last year, I don't see this team being able to pull itself together. Too much needs to happen (Duhon needs to sit and start Hughes at point (which MDA does not seem inclined to do); start Darko at center and stop making Lee guard centers (something else MDA does not seem to want to do); tell Al to stop gunning and focus more on ball movement, and get Gallo the ball; and the last most impossible thing is we need Curry to come back and play like he played 3 years ago). I don't see it happening.

I must e seeing something different, in the limited time that Darko has gotten, he has done his job. I blame Duhon again here. He does not know how to use his C. The PG needs to make sure you run/manage the team first. I see Darko running the pick and roll, he rolls and the ball goes the other way. Duhon either does not have any BBall IQ or he just wants to pass to his friends in the team.

The one player I see that is actually trying to get other players involved in the offense is DLee. I have been paying attention to him and he is looking for Gallo all the time now. I am sure he would do the same for Darko if they every play together.

how many gyrations are we going to go through.. coach, GM, coach, coach, GM, coach...

The talent on the roster needs to be upgraded. Looks like the lowest of the lows is going to happen. While Eddy sits and eats Utah is getting John Wall

No - rebuilding would have TD and Hill getting minutes, Darko starting at the five to see if he sticks with us long term.

This looks like trying to win with your system without making any concessions to roster talent.

No this team is much worse than last years and they tried to enhance it. Perhaps they were trying to restock and retool while trying to win with veterans.

Last year at this time we had a low post scorer by the name of Zach Randolf. He was a big reason we got off to a good start. We were 9-9 with Zach which by my calculations is .500 any way you slice it. After the trade, we went 5-13 over the next 18 games. So basically, we are just as bad now as we were last season post Randolf trade.

How can Darko be a disappointment if he was never any good? Darko is merely an expiring contract in my eyes

A good team and one more on the coach
