If Isiah Thomas is in charge, which I believe he is, as Dolan seems to be admitting that he should distance himself from anything other than hiring/firing execs, tonight begins the audition process for Knicks who want to stay with the team or be traded.

You can bet that Zeke's first order of business is to add some balance to the roster and get rid of Ward before his contract is guaranteed.

Thomas will take risks with trades that Layden would not. He probably already has an idea of who he wants off the team, having spoken to his regular co-worker Malone, but tonight's game gives the guys a chance to show if they really want to be here or not.

Layden was right, these next few games are a critical juncture ... for Isiah.

Any Knick that fails to step up his game tonight will be on Thomas' first edition of his s#&!@t list, then will have to step up next game to get off it. Even if a guy wants off the team, he'll have to impress someone to trade for him. Tonight is a telling game about just what kind of players these Knicks really are.

Thomas will make decisions starting with tonight's game.

have to agree with you there. A fired up Spree and very tough team *should* bring out the best in any opponent. Thomas should be in some box seat keeping track of stats and hustle play of every Knick player and coach.

Spree had a horrible game the last time he played NY, i think he will do the same this time.
I hope they get a shot of Dolans reaction to the garden crowd giving spree a standing O.

I think Spree will come into MSG tonight with payback on the brain. IMO he will have a much better game than the first, and drop 35-40. If KG is on tonight like he's been recently, lower that to 25-35.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

He should be able to see after just one game how bad Eisely is and because he is so bad force chaney to bench him. And if he doesn't Chaney can hit the road

who wouldn't want to trade these guys? the problem is most of them are paid too much and they suck so no one wants them.

Exactly. At least give him a shot. If he struggles for 3 weeks then bench him. It's not like we are a great team and putting Frank in their will jeopardize our future. I don't understand Teflon Don's fricin logic dammit!!

You were a fool for posting this crap last time and then "YOU" dissapeared when spree had 5 points, then ya lil sidekick is already making excuses for sprewell saying he will do other things if he doesn't score tonight. You to are really showing how silly your statments can get. But I guess between the two of you , you can rubeach others head when ya wrong about spree aginst the knicks .
