"I think at the end of the day, a max deal or anything like that doesn't really matter to me at the end of the day. It's all about winning for me," James said.

"So I've put myself in a position that when that day comes next summer, I want to win, and if I feel like the team is capable of winning, I'll make my decision like that."

with remarks like that, you have to conclude he is not staying in CLE. They got caca for talent outside of LeBron and zero capspace. No way they can keep up with the likes of Lakers, Boston, Orlando, Portland.

So basically, everybody has a better chance on LeBron than the Knicks. Sheesh. Debbie Downer.

We are not a competitive team--we sck--does it sound like Lebron wants to go to a team that scks? Who is our team by the way next year? The only locks are Jeffries Curry Gallinari Hill and Douglas.

If you can convince me rationally that we dont sck--pleas feel free-I have an open mind.

Id keep an open heart to Lebron but focus on Bosh and likely retain Lee[unless a team was willing to pony up a deal that i could not pass on]. A Lee Bosh frontline would give us a foundation.

I give LBJ a lot more credit that you do BRIGGS> I think he knows Gallinari is potentially more talented than anyone he has ever played with in Cleveland and he also knows the Knicks can afford to bring in a sidekick for him in 2011. Yes, Miami can pair him with Wade and thats why I consider Miami to be our only real competition. But one thing works against Miami... Miami is Wade County. LBJ would be joining someone else's team like when A=-rod joined the Yankees.

I think LBJ would rather be on the Knicks and then recruit a pal in 2011. That way the Knicks will be HIS team.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

lebrom had alot of early success with carlos boozer who wanted to go to miami and play with wade last off season and miami has a ton of cap space...those 3 together would be like when KG Pierce and Allen teamed up

and thats a damning comparison kam. ARod likely would've never won a ring had he not been playing with Jeter, Matsui and co...you need good to great players in every sport to win it all.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

i am thinking that he does not want to appear to ride anyone's coattails. Otherwise he would just join Kobe.
