Yep
I know 1-5 is kinda of early and Knicks now have no leadership
But Duhon and Chandler has been a disappointment considering the
season last yr. Its early but if Knicks going to lose and not
go after another VET guard then Knicks may as well start their
best players.

Start the erratic Al Harrington along with rookie Toney Douglas

Neither Duhon nor Chandler is doing other things to help team
when they aren't scoring. Danillo is a work in progress but will
get better.

David Lee STATs are useless in games they lose in the 1st QTR
at least Lee & Larry Hughes (inconsistent) shown ability to do
other things on court when their shots aren't falling.

Both Duhon and W.Chandler continue to throw up bricks after brick
while their man beats them on other end of court.

Like you said we're only 6 games into the season - so I'm not writing Chandler off just yet.. I agree with you about Duhon though, but I think that he could (a big could) turn around maybe. Buy I'm not counting on it.

I hear ya,
agreed.

I like Chandler but he seems to be throwing up more bad shot selection this season
and hasnt seem to be same occasional shot blocker at Forward spot. Chandler still has
place on this team, developed nicely last yr I have not given up on him. But he seems
lost who knows ?perhaps his offseason injury is hurting him and he's not 100% yet

I expect big things from Chandler.
But you are right Duhon is main problem. He opened his mouth as leaders should do
but he plays like crap. I dont like him as Knick PG right now and we have no one
else until Douglas gets some minutes at PG.

Walsh needed to sign another PG this yr cause I know its all about 2010 next yr
but neither Douglas nor Nate Robinson were really PGs to begin with ?

So Duhon needed to show up and play decent & he's been horrible and seems to be
going down the tubes

I think that it is hard to run an offensive when you have perimeter players who can't put pressure on the defense with their dribble. Duhon is a back up point guard and Chandler is a stiff. If they aren't hitting three's like last year, you are basically playing down 2-3 players when these and Jeffries are on the floor.

I never been a Chandler fan, but I can't think of another small forward with less guard skiils in the NBA that starts. I would stsrt Hughes/Gallo/AL/Lee............. I would atleast split time with TD. Duhon and Chandler aare bench players Imo.

We have 12 bench players plus Dlee... So you can pick any combination and get same result

Chandler and Hughes are the only things keeping us from getting down by 50 on defense. They are playing in people's faces. Now LeBron doesn't seem to care much about that, but they are playing technically well.

Wilson looks good to me. For a team that has no offense, he's scored fairly efficiently for the last few games. He's nailing that mid-range shot just inside the 3-point line and he's taking less contested treys.

Chandler needs to go to the hoop more, but it seems like when he has the ball people are usually playing off of him. Without PG help he's going to have a tough time getting to the rack.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

i will agree on Duhon not starting... i think Hughes should be running point for now & let Douglas see more minutes as well, at least until Nate comes back fully healthy... Duhon can back up Hughes off the bench... i like the defense & size matchups Hughes gives us playing the PG, & he's really the only guy who can guard quick players on the perimeter on this entire team other than TD, who isn't ready yet to handle a starting role offensively.

Chandler i'd give more time, he just got converted back to his more natural 4 position... if he's still struggling in a few weeks then i might let him come off the bench & play vs. other team's 2nd unit guys to help him regain his confidence.

It just doesn't matter who starts and who doesn't when everyone on the team sucks.
