Sergio is not getting any burn in Sac Town. They have 2 PGs ahead of him in Evans and Udrih. Would you trade Wilson Chandler for Sergio and their first round pick?

Their first round pick...hell yeah. They're not doing that, tho. Not for Wilson.

Sergio is a scrub. That I know.

If you ship Wilson out without getting a major piece back then this team is going to be in even worse shape.

Sergio is an interesting idea, but it can't be Wilson going to them. Martin just broke himself again anyway so Sergio will be getting minutes soon.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Sergio was getting big assist numbers in pre-season and was out playing Udrih at least thats what the box scores were saying. What is it about this dude that they wanna sabatoge his career??? He's not a scrub....Duhon is a scrub.

As a unrelated side note Jason Williams is playing well in orlando...I freaking hate chris duhon (well his game anyway)

Enyspree, I definitely wouldn't have minded Jason Williams if we gave him a cheap contract. Worse comes to worst, he and Duhon could have battled it out and that would have motivated Douglas to try to improve his game even more, knowing that maybe if he worked hard enough, maybe he could get a starting spot.

Best case scenario, he could be a respectable starter for this season and show us how he played on a championship Miami team.

With Kevin Martin injured "again" they may feel they have to make a move

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I'll tell you what, as a Knick fan I long for the day when we don't have to covet other teams' third stringers to be our starters.

Pathetic.

I'm with you Panos. Somehow I doubt the Spurs fans are thinking... "man if we could just get our hands on Adam Morrison, maybe he figures it out with us and we can finally win it all."

I don't know if I will go that far but I would consider Sergio and their 2nd rounder for the Mayor.

I dunno, we need a PG, we are loaded with tweener SF/PFs and Chandler has not shown an ability to play the SG position. At this point, I think he has become expendable. I don't really see him getting much better than he is, he is no longer a project, this is what he is. SRod may or may not be our answer at PG, but he seems better than Duhon and looks like the type of PG that could thrive in this system. At some point, we have to realize that we aren't getting a high 1st round pick for Chandler. We have to focus on players that fill needs and SRod's economic position matches Chandler's. It puts us in a better position for next year by giving us a legitimate PG under contract.

why would you give up on a guy so quick? He barely played his first year. Last year he made some good improvement. And we know he is coming off of ankle surgery and that may be the cause for a slow start. Gotta give him at least to the end of this season to project Chandler and his growth.

We do have a ton of SF/PFs, but to trade him for SRod...?

Amen. And the path to that day is littered with threads suggesting we get tweedledum for tweeedledee.

Sergio can't defend anything. I mean, not even a chair, in spanish league, less physical, he wasn't able to guard half of the pg's so if he is not playing in Kings isn't because his offensive talent, just because he's small and likes to play monopoly when it's defense time. He is a great offensive talent, as great as defensive charge.

With all the talk about bringing in players (AI and SJackson) I really think Sergio can be the guy here.

javier - You said that he can't defend anything. Can Duhon defend anything? at least Sergio can make our offense run a little better than DuDu.
