Ariza, Blatche or DJ's lover girl Barfnani.

I think Ariza though...

i wouldnt put bargnani in that sentence because he has progressed in his career and added a new element to his game each year he's been in the pros.

in my opinion, based on a 4 ganme sample size (which aint a good basis to begin with but is what we have to work with here)the players who are making the most waves early this year are:

marc gasol
al harrington
chris bosh
trevor ariza
larry hughes

larry hughes???!!! Do you mean he is a MIP comparing with himself in the pre-season?

Ariza would be MIP if everything holds like this.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

As much as I love Gallo, I dont think he properly belongs in the discussion here. Its not that his game has improved so much as the fact that he is healthy now.

so ur saying we should have expected this level of play from him right out of the box last year if he was healthy? i don't agree w/u... Ariza's improved no doubt about that but the difference in production from last year to this year is more stark with Gallo... Ariza's averaging 5 more mpg than Gallo is too but Gallo's putting up just as much production... it's close but right now based on the first few games i think Gallo gets the edge personally.

Chris Kaman. 5 games, over 40+ mins., 22.6 ppg, 10.2 rpg, 1.8 bpg, 1.0 steals, 60% FG, 77.3% FTs.

Clips are only 1-4 but it has nothing at all to do with this guy. He's been great. I've always respected how hard this guy gets after it. So active with a tremendous motor. There are big guys with more talent but this guy's just relentless. Never stops going after it down low.

I guess I gotta put Gallo up there as well - he's still a little too 3 pt. happy for me but the numbers don't lie -- over 19 ppg, over 45% on 3s..I think he played a very good overall game against NO with a lot more variety even though the stats weren't there per say. Nice to see. He's played well so far.

Anthony Morrow might have a nice season. His first couple games were slow but off the bench tonight he was back to preseason form with 10/12 2s and 4/4 3s. He was a liability on D but he did make some effort. If Morrow averages 20pts on high yield shooting and the Warriors win 30 games (and both seem unlikely given the Nelson/Jackson/Ellis situations) I can see him besting, oh, Ariza, even if Ariza's the better player in the end. Ariza was good last year and he'll probably be a bigger fish in Houston but Morrow's summer leap looks bigger so far.

Blatche, CDR, Ryan Anderson and Gallo all look good so far. I also agree about Deng but he has been good in the past and was injured for alot of last season.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
