Glad frye found his shot. However, his lack of defense would have held us back. We need to get rid of our defensive liabilities, not add to them.

Yeah, I'm not going to cry over Frye.

he would have been a very good role player here and is just another example of a wasted draft pick. Not every pick has to be a star but he could definatly gotten rotation minutes

He did get rotation minutes. He was not a waste until we decided to trade him for one.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Wow he expanding his range out behind the arc now huh? I knew he was gonna be able to do that. Excellent shooting touch. Too bad he just doesn't show up when it comes to playing defense and rebounding -- just playing tough, you know? This guy could be Rasheed Wallace if he wants to be. He'll help the Suns though. Good pick up for them...

Nice to see that Channing has... A) gotten beyond his injury he suffered here and B) gotten beyond being traded and C) gotten beyond behind buried on Portland's bench.

I'll throw a bit of hindsight into this: Frye on a reasonable 3 year contract >>>>>>> Jordan Hill (who should have been traded on draft day to reduce 2010 salary. Yet, I also stand by the idea that hindsight is unproductive. But what can you do. When your team sucks you are going to speculate. Last time I checked an open public forum is the place to speculate. Yep, that's a pre-emptive strike on those who are seething at the bit to flame me over that idea.

I always liked Snickerdoodle. I thought he had a better skill set than DLee but injuries just prevented him from reaching his potential. Alonzo Mourning did damage on this kids psych. Frye always tried to dunk over that cat but was always rejected.

Good luck Channing.
