other than D Lee, Duhon & Jefferies i don't see anyone else consistently giving 100% of effort on the floor for 48 minutes. Gallo is trying too but he needs to learn how to stay out of foul trouble cuz we need him out on the floor, he's our only consistent shooter right now... Chandler looks lost the first couple games... Al Harrington talked a lotta smack about being a leader this year, so far i haven't seen it during the games... leading during practice don't mean jack if u can't back it up during the games... as for Nate, dude is a lost cause, he's gonna jack up bad shots until 1 of them goes in & he catches fire, that's just his game... right now he's playing 1 on 5 & we can't win w/that type of mentality... i don't see any way he's here after this season personally.

i think we should be starting Gallo at this point so he can get into the flow of the game early... maybe that will help w/his foul woes... then again, he could collect 2 early fouls quick, but he's gotta learn somehow... he definitely should be starting ahead of Jefferies... Fishlips gives an effort but the guy just isn't good & shouldn't be starting games... he's best used off the bench as a 7th or 8th man in the rotation... we should be getting Darko into the mix more too... he gives us legitimate size at the C position, is our best shotblocker & is a surprisingly good passer... i think he can help on both ends of the floor... & get Jordan Hill some minutes! kid is learning nothing by sitting his butt on the bench.

I really think we should implement a rotation like this:

C - Darko
PF - Lee
SF - Gallo
SG - Chandler
PG - Duhon
6 - Harrington
7 - Nate
8 - Hill
9 - Fishlips
Douglas, Hughes, Landry

i think his knee is bothering him, that's what it says on his ESPN player profile... personally i think MDA just has some kind of odd man love fetish with giving Fishlips max minutes... maybe they're hoping he puts up some stats so they can unload him this year somehow... that's the only possible explanation i can think of... i'll give Jefferies credit for hitting 3 from beyond the arc but really, should he be spotting up to take those shots to begin with? the guy should be setting up for a possible rebound or putback & let the real shooters on this team spot up outside.

fishlips shooting threes would be a good thing if our outside game was established and respected, but he's not someone you use to make this the case.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Wow, when I opened this thread I thought I would see totally different names.

Duhon and Lee are part of the problem right now in my eyes. Neither can guard their man and it leads to big runs for the other team when they aren't working the pick and roll well.

Harrington and Gallo are certainly trying. Darko is trying, he's got an injury to deal with now though.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Duhon is a joke. Right now he is shooting 14% from 3 and 26% from the field. He is the major why this team starts off slow. The guy did nothing for 3 quarters. Larry Hughes would be a better starter at point then Duhon. Duhon does nothing special. He can not even guard his man nor does he do anything on the offensive end. He is a defender's heaven.

Duhon isn't great, i'm not trying to say he is, but at least he gives an effort... Fishlips sucks ass but he tries too... i'm just saying i don't see any other guys but these 3 & maybe Gallo giving an honest effort on the floor everytime they're out there... Nate runs rampant but the dude just runs around like a chicken with his head cut off & launches up bad shots in transition even when he's got someone trailing the play he could easily dump off to get the easy layup... i don't see Al trying every time he's out there, he makes way too many mental mistakes, stupid travelling calls, etc., & he also tends to force the action at times instead of moving the ball around to an open teammate... i like what Al brings to the table skills wise but he needs to step up & be the leader he said he was gonna be this year, & that starts by playing tough defense & getting his teammates involved in the action whenever possible... as a F he's limited in what he can do but IMO he can be doing much more than he has been so far (short sample, i know, just making the point)

ha!

Gallo is 1 of the best 3 point shooters in the league in only his 2nd year... dude is shooting 50% from beyond the arc.

18 3 pointers made in 3 games on 50% shooting ! Impressive.
