`Lampe, Milos? I think these guys are going to get kicked to the curb real quick... which is the worst part about Layden leaving... seriously, I think the coach was what was wrong with the Knicks. Yeah, Layden did not pull off anything major in a good way, but the coach should have pulled this all through.

I agree. It really is the coach. Layden was terrible and i'm happy he's gone but Isiah's statements kinda give me the feeling that he is looking for instant gratification which means he might trade Lampe or the rights to Milos along with someone else in trades. That would be terrible.

Lets hope he fires Chaney but he said he is going to provde Chaney with all the resouces he needs!

Case, we are in a better situation now. If Lampe and Milos get kicked to the curb, so what? I believe Isaiah will get players in here that will put W's in the win column. Milos is a punk who is too soft and too scared to play here anyway. If we can't get someone good in exchange for a Lampe package, then we can keep him- he can still pan out well. If that happens, the LayDown lovers can say "Scott drafted him" and leave it at that.

When Zeke gets KVH outta here, I will definitely give him props. Zeke played on a team that had both skill and fire. Even though he's not the most masculine cat in the world, I am willing to give him a shot at making this team better. He can make the roster and coaching changes as he sees fit. Chaney will be gone soon enough.

Thank God the NY Knicks won't end up as another Utah. Hopefully Isaiah will help turn this team into Bad Boys II.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

What will happen now? That is the real question and unfortunately, it's Dolan's call. If he accepts that NY is going nowhere and it is time to rebuild, then there is hope. Otherwise, mediocrity will continue.
But if Dolan has woken up, he must follow Indiana and Denver's lead: Trade away old players and bad contracts and be patient. It will take 3-4 years. The key is not to accumulate any contracts that expire after Houston's. The knicks will stink and accumulate draft picks but 3 years from now, there will hope...

I found it funny how Dolan wants to make the playoffs and Isiah wants to win a championship. From the sounds of it Dolan is more concerned about getting that extra $$$$$$$$$$$$ for making the playoffs than winning a championship. That is why I'm glad Isiah is here because his only goal is to win a championship, which is the goal of true Knick fans.

You caught that also, huh........Who cares if Milo and Lampe go?? Who here have seen these two play??

exactly..no one. We all go by some fat, bald sports writer who has never played the game in his life.

I am also going by what European players and NBA scouts based in Europe have said about Milos and Lampe. Trading them away would be of no help. This is exactly what Isaih should not do as his first moves. He should be more worried about moving Spoon, Eisley and Shandon's contracts and find a different coach from the Knicks who knows how to run an offense.

This is not a popularity contest where he makes the moves to make the fans like him. He is supposed to make the move that will help the team the most. First order of business is firing Chaney and replacing him with someone better like Doc Rivers. Once the new coach gets a chance to evaluate the talent and watch them play, then he can tell Isaih who to trade and who not to trade.

If NY makes any players moves look for Seattle to be one of the team involved. (Ronald Murray) Smooth and slick from Philly, east coast type of baller. A guy who TKF SAID IS WILD AND ERRATIC. LOL Plz this guy is Nice.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

ESPN Insider said the Knicks should trade Thomas and Ward for Kwame Brown and Lattner.

That trade would be a disaster. They are both underachievers. I would rather let KT and WArd walk and take the cap relief.

I dont want to invest in Kwame brown upto 2006. I would rather just take the cap relief. Kwame might be worth is but Laettner makes the deal even worse. He has upto 2005. Also, Kwame was Washington's number 1 pick 2 years ago and they would'nt give up on him unless they know he will be mediocre.

I dont think Isaih wants to make the Kwame trade his first in NY.

Dolan displayed his ignorance today when he said that he wants to "make the playoffs" as his primary goal. I was a whole lot happier when Zeke made it a point to say that his primary concern was winning a Championship. That's just the way front office cats need to be talking and backing it up. I really believe that Isaiah will back up what he says. I can see him making moves that we all know need to take place.

Dolan did say that making the playoffs this year is the goal and after that a championship. Trust me Layden's only goal was playoffs atleast the KNicks have a guy who wants the whole shabang. What makes me happy is that he has actually won it as a player so he knows what it takes that is always a positive.

Build a consistant n stronger team. It's not going to happen in a snap of a finger but this team will be better.I think a trade will happen at the deadline. This is why i wanted Isiah to be part of this organization in anyway. He see's talent and knows how to mold them into potential franchise all-star type players.O'Neal took 3yrs. so did Nowitzski to blow up and i believe Lampe would be the same.Watching Lampe in the preseason reminds me how these two players were in there first yr in the NBA.Nowitzski's shoot wasn't money n O'neal's low post wasn't there.Stay wit Lampe cuz he's going to light the house up.Ayo fellas thx,HARDCOREKNICKSFAN & SILVERFUEL.

You take l'8ner as the price to get Kwame.

Isiah is a dolan move to placate the masses.

Remove all Layden did, even the potential good so Hardcore can be right? Milos is a punk, soft? AK47 spent 3 years getting his game in europe. In dog years, that is like 21 years for some people around here.

Thomas needs to find out what his plan is, then work toward fulfilling that goal. He has unproven assets, bloated contracts, but still a no.1 pick.

Laydog could never tank and rebuild, but thomas can sell it to sponsers, tv shows, and the fans. Better to try to work with what you have, understand what you have, find what market value it really has (not Laydogs inflated value) and make some deals.

I don't care what these men are saying in a press conference as to
"making playoffs or winning a championship", this retoric has been spoken for years and has no substance. No press conference can dictate until it is spoken about. sucking in the propoganda is what they want. some are really eating this bullcrap up. Its ok to question all this without being a "Laydown" lover. Its called being an objective fan.

The Face of the knicks won tittles in Detroit and Indiana University. A fine player, a charasmatic voice, but Him, not a player, not a coach, will be our face.

The knicks phone will ring and the GMs whom want some of our players can perhaps find better value.

The question is not whos got whos back, but what direction is the team heading, and that my friends is still be big secret.

THE PROBLEM AT HAND MUST BE SOLVED WITH A HIGHER LEVEL OF THINKING THAN THAT IN WHICH IT WAS CREATED: ALBERT EINSTIEN
