Duhon: Knicks Didn't Take Friday Game Seriously
Oct 30, 2009 11:53 PM EST
Chris Duhon told the media that his teammates were not serious about Friday's game in Charlotte. Duhon said the Knicks dropped their double overtime loss against the Bobcats by not preparing properly prior to tip-off.
"They were fooling & joking around. Weren't taking game seriously, nobody was focused, even in layup line," wrote Tina Cervasio. "When they realized they could come back, it was too late."
The Knicks were down 19 points after one period but mounted a huge fourth-quarter comeback to force the extra sessions.

I fully agreed with Duhon's analysis. Last night, they came in an away game without strong will to win.
If Duhon felt this way, why didn't he voice out his concern and opinion to his teammate ?
Why nobody in the team speak up ?
This is partly due to MDA who should have tried to create a leader in the team. MDA had been successful where he had an leader like Nash in Suns, LJ in USA team.
We need to have a player who comes in every game with hungriness for victory and this will have great impact on other player's mental readiness.
So far, we have not seen any.
Do we need to wait such a leader until the next summer ?
I don't think so.
