cavs are out of sync vs. the celtics. it's either the celtics defense or the cavs trying to integrate shaq and a few others. could be a combination of both.

and arenas has been cracking jkidd's ankles in dallas...

Kleenex ? I've waited all summer for the ceremony, I had to bust out the Brawny paper towels for this load.

cleveland got handled.

wizards big win on road vs mavs.. foye looked great, as did oberto.. Agent nut-o also had a good game..

rockets vs blazers.. rockets play tough, but they are undersized and underskilled on that front line without yao..

Lakers vs clipps... clippers are a mess..

The Clippers played well and made a game of it after a rough 1st quarter. Thorton had a bad game right from the get-go - if he shows up, maybe they steal that game....I wasn't that high on Eric Gordon coming out of college for a few reasons -- he had the bum wrist, he didn't shoot it that well percentage-wise and I thought he was a little too turnover prone and a little too small. Man was I wrong. This guy plays much bigger than 6'3". Much better pro than I thought he'd be. Quality shooter, good defender and he takes it strong to the goal...Kobe wound up getting his last night but this kid made him work for it. He was going toe-to-toe with Kobe in the 1st half before I conked out...

The Clippers are pretty good. They're a couple of pieces away and Baron Davis would need to be healthy[and that is a question mark] but I like their team. I think they should try to trade Camby when griffin comes back---keep his minutes like last night and if he continues that production 14-6 etc.. in 20 minutes--a playoff team will give up a 1 for him. I like their big men rotation Kaman Deandre Jordan Craig Smith and Griffin then they have some nice young guards although they are very small defensively in the backcourt and that was exploited all night in the post.

My man Bynum---unfortunately you can see a huge difference in his athletic ability--he said he will always have to wear the knee braces and you can see the lack of explosion that he had before he was hurt. It's almost like Patrick ewing from Gtown and then he hurt his knee in year 1 with the Knicks--he was still great but he wasnt what he was at G Town. I think Bynum still[or will be] is an all star level player capable of 35 points on any given night IF HEALTHY within reason but that lack of explosion will drop him from what I thought he could be top 3 player in the league. He won't get the blocks or the rebounds now and he'll lose a lot of easy points. And once pau comes back he wont even have games like 26-13-4 etc.. he'll be back to 14-8.

Lastly Mcgee and Young are out of rotation in Wash. Man what i would be willing to give up to get those two because I think they would do VERY well here.

Bynum is still very young but this guy always has issues wit his body.

I hope he is one that grows into his body and it responds by being able to handle the work load. Maybe a guy like that plays college ball for a few years which is not so tough on the body. 30 games or there about vs 90+ with crazy travel is a big difference.

Briggy, I asked you about Aria in the "IGOI" thread.

the clippers are too dumb to be good briggs... The lakers toyed with them last night... other than divine intervention, the clippers didn't stand a real chance...

They are a little dumb and unorganized. They do have some nice pieces--I don't know of Baron Davis is the guy to hold the team together--he looked like a train wreck last night--his injuries over the years may have taken their toll.

Shaq: 10points, 10 rebounds (1 for 5 shooting in the second half)

Dirk 34 points
Kidd 6 assists
Shawn Marion 16 points, 7 rebs (but a -17 plus-minus)
