no, what's with this constant wanting of average players...we have a roster full of average players, i doubt one more mediocre journeyman is going to make a difference.
WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

udoka can defend the perimeter. and he wouldn't be horrible insurance if wilson's injury isn't fully healed. he's not great, but he's certainly serviceable.

touche... so does udoka. Not sure what the story is. He was good defender and could hit the 3. I thought he played very well with SAS recently. Maybe he's just done. Kinda old for a hustle guy.

He's probably better than Hughes

that's exactly what hughes would be described as. point.

i wish hughes were at least 25% of his former self. because i think hughes' former self would be a good fit here, too.

i'd take hughes from around the turn of the century, but he had a big head then, so maybe i wouldn't take him. he is the definition of average.

thats the thing.. he's going to come in and play hard and practice hard. He's not getting burn unless Gallo, Chandler, etc sprain an ankle.

Hughes is in the mode of jacking up shot cause he needs his numbers for another NBA paycheck

Hughes is not an NBA player. Don't make that comparison.

Udoka looked solid in the playoffs last year. That's an odd cut right there. I would be jumping over people to sign him if I were Walsh. We have no 2 guard, let along any depth at the position.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I like Udoka a lot for this system but we have no place to put him unless we bench one of the young guys. He is just not a good fit for our situation right now.

Honestly, we really shouldn't be looking to add any players right now anyway. The only exception is if we are talking about an impact player that can actually make a difference.

If you have an open roster spot and you're not adding the best available players, aaaand you don't have depth at guard, then you are just giving your fans the finger by not signing the dude.

Point is likely moot. I'm sure San Antonio is already on the phone with him.

Keep that roster spot open so you can make 3 for 2 or 2 for 1 trades.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Right, but you're doing it to the detriment of your team. If Udoka isn't injured or had some kind of breakdown, then he's good enough to play major minutes for a Knicks team that has no natural 2 guard.

He may have begun to break down. He is 32.

Udoka would've been worth keeping when we had him. Now there's no point.
