We need a coach that would put some energy and fire into this team. A coach who'll stick with a 8 man rotation and get the most out of his players.
A coach that will no longer accept opposing Kats running up the lane without even getting smashed up. A coach who wouldn't give a damn if you make all the $$ in the world.. If you're not producing especially in the defensive end, Ya ass gets rotted on the bench.. I think John Starks should be looked at for consideration.
We know he doesn't have the coaching experience but imagine the intensity, fire, determination and the fearless attitude Starks would bring to a Knicks team.
They would definitely respond. As for the fans, They'll pack up the Garden once again supporting their former popular player as head coach.
The Future. GO KNICKS!

-The knicks have managed to play good defense with teams that had no more talent then this in the past.
-By making excuses Chaney makes it acceptable to lose.
-He has no consistent rotation. Most coaches seem to have some philosophy. With Chaney I'm never sure who he is going to play or why. (I would think it was me - but everyone seems to notice).
-The Knicks are losing consistently - something big has to change and the coach is the biggest and easiest change to make.
Malone would be just a continuation of Chaney. It won't change matters. I would go outside the organization and bring in Isiah Thomas in here to turn things around. A proven winner, One thing he will do is get the PG position playing better.
Few more candidates that I think will be good are: Marc Ivaroni Micheal Cooper Bill Lambeer

HAHAHAHAAHAHA...Dude so true. I dont want Isiah either. Brendan Malone will be tough Vmart. I think he has a better chance of succeding. Chaney runs some of the offense but Malone is a defensive guy. I really don't want Isiah Thomas.

Yea. You are right aboot Isiah.
I like would like to Bill Lambeer here. Wonder what he can do. I hope Chaney doesn't go start winning 5 games ina row and then the knicks say, oh he is a good coach and get off his back and he start losing again. We really need a change at HC.
