Last year the Knicks were the 3rd or 4th worst team in opponents' defensive FG%. We also allowed teams to score 107 points. Part of that was the speed of our offense, but a larger part was our defense. I just finished watching the last two games, and I am very encouraged by our defense. The additions of Darko and Douglas has made a huge impact, and I like the coaching staffs recommittment to defense. I think the Knicks can move up into the late teens as far as defensive rankings this year and keep their opponents to under 103 pts. If we do that, I think we can win 40 games this year.

I've said it before and I will say it again. For the first time in 10 years we can actually put a defensive line-up on the floor that can also score some points

Nate, TD, Wilson, Gallo and Jeffries/Darko has been very good. You can substitute a non defensive player for Gallo(Harrington) and still maintain a good defensive flow. I like the versatility.

the defense is just nite and day. i got so used to not watching this team not play d that it became normal. not that the knicks didnt try to play d in the past but this time they have a roster that shows it can accomplish that.

D for this team can be the diff maker. It just shows how adding a few players in the NBA can change a team a lot. Having TD and Darko has helped to strengthen the D. Chan and Jared could always defend. Lee has stepped it up more.

As a team you can see they get hands up and challenge shots and passes MUCH more than a Knick team has done in years! TD has had a positive effect on Nate. Both should get a lot of steals this year.

Bippity10 is the evil imposter even going so far as to cuddle with my little white doggie. Everyman has a fuse and mine is burning low. Just another hurdle I will have to leap on my way to running this place.
