I think what's more important for the team is to get out of this backlog that runs on our bench and start increasing the value of what we have.
For example Kurt Thomas to SA for Robert Horry and a SA#1 in 2004 of which they have 2. Horry is shot, but only has a 1 yr 5mm$ deal like KT.
Put Horry on IR and bring Sweetney to the bench and put Othella in as our back up PF.
Now armed with an extra draft pick, we can inquire about a Ron Murray with ray Allen coming back. We can offer a nice little package and I think we could get him, I really do because of Seattle's economics.. I know we could probably make a deal straight up for brent Barry--but that is only a band aid fix--Barry has chronically bad ankles and is 32. That would only add to the mess here .
We really need a forward looking asset for Thomas if we can get it and OPEN up some value and spots in other areas.
something along those lines:>)

i prefer the KT for lamond murray and a #1 i proposed
No way. That deal is bad because Lamond brings an extra year contract with him and he is getting a little injury prone of late. Also, we can get a lot more for KT. I dont like the Horry idea though.
