Kelly Dwyer...is this like Marc Berman as Allan Smithee? Firstly, I resent the constant stereotyping that all Knick fans are impatient and can't tolerate rebuilding. Toss in the sheer size of the Knick fan base and a tri-state temper following that doesn't really take to the word "rebuilding" all that well, and you have a tough group to sell the following ideal to — the Knicks will stink, again, in 2009-10. Seriously, this is offensive. I find interesting how some writers feel so comfortable stereotyping Knick fans in such negative light and use some lame ass stereotypical NY lingo "S'OK, man..." I'm sorry, was that a joke I was supposed to laugh at? If you did a mock Amos & Andy routine should I laugh too? I think even some of the major hatters here who hate Isiah know he also drafted Lee, Nate & Chandler, who have flaws but are pretty good players worth something in this league. Isiah did plenty of things to hurt this team and its future, but to pretend he did nothing but pain for us is just not fair or objective...in fact typical media sensationalist nonsense. Then the attempts to sign Hill and Kidd are lacking context as well. No explanation of why players on potentially top seeded playoff teams would want to play for a borderline playoff team...nor do we want Lee nor Nate...haha...yeah we signed them to 1 year deals because we want to get rid of them for fools gold... then let's typically go the classic national sportswriters route...look at stats and whatever suits one's views and use it to show knick fans how clearly little they watch games... - lee is an all-star (and i really like lee) - gallo is an instant stud - hill looks solid (tell half the board here this) - no knicks we like will be here in 12 months and i like these guys! what a joke... saddest part about this all, is from a business perspective, yahoo got EXACTLY what they want. Angry fans like me will write crap and create "buzz" for their article. NY Post/FOX NEWS part duex.. when I was younger I used to check these sources to "see what my enemy wrote" but now...i won't bother anymore. Dwyer, btw is a Bulls guy, which gives you some perspective on where that article is coming from.
