If you're like me, and have Time Warner cable, you may have heard that after Dec. 31, Time Warner intends to drop MSG and Fox Sports Net from its offerings because Cablevision has raised the rate for carrying MSG and Fox Sports. Though this will probably get worked out in the long run, this would be one more nail in the Cablevision "bad business" coffin. Charles Dolan and his weenie brother, James, aren't going to stop until they've run Cablevision into the ground.

Can you imagine not being able to watch the Knicks and Rangers in NYC?!

First Cablevision gets into it with the YES network, then Cox cable, now Time Warner. Does anyone like doing business with Cablevision?! Time Warner has pulled this before (they pulled ABC off the air in NYC during a dispute with Disney) but it just seems Cablevision angers every business partner they encounter.

Dish is the way to go but problem is I have Dishnetwork and they can't get it together with YES network. I think the fans get screwed every which way when these TV service morons get into.

If and when the weather gets ill, dish owners have issues more than enough and to top it off don't they have to pay for repairs? I won't be missing any games Adelphia is on point.

Very rearely does the satelite service go out. Even when the weather is bad. Sometimes you lose a signal now and then, but I had Cablevision and more often than not it use to go out, if they were making repairs the service would go out and if there was a strom the service went out.

I had Direct TV and with that I had a lot of problems because the trajectory for the sattelite is a lot lower than Dish network. It was so low that the trees in my back yard would mess with the signal. Since I went to Dish network I haven't had any problems.

yea, the weather very rarely affects my satellite, and the times that it does is usually during a thunder storm and you shouldn't be watching TV anyway. Playa is just like the cable commercials trying to diss the dish... I have Directv, and never had one repair problem in 6 going on 7 years. the cable companies were so bad and greedy they made me a satellite fan for life...

I get both MSG and Metro on TWC (Time Warner Cable) and can't believe that Dolan is being such an ass. This whole dilemma is due to Cablevision increasing rates for Metro to be included. It's a damn shame.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
