Check it out. We are very close and I wanna push this out soon.

LET ME BE CLEAR. This is only a beta site and any posts there will NOT be made back to regular site.

What's not in there:
- Search

What's gonna be in there but not right now:
- Bookmarking within the site
- Mobile specific pages (this one is gonna take a bit of time but I know we have a bunch of cell phone users).
- Link to see someone's profile page
- Much fuller forums's profile page of your stuff (topics you posted in, etc)

New additions:
- UI upgrade
- You MUST be logged in to site to post. If you hit Quote or New Topic button, you are sent to Login page.
- If you are NOT logged in, you see an Advert at top of page (this does NOT show up if you are logged in).
- second post of thread will always have Advert.
- Ignore users (scared that this won't work properly in all browsers)
- Topics that YOU have posted in are marked so that they are visible (small star on the thread icon).
- Insert a smiley where you put your cursor
- curse on/off setting
- send closk may be gone :(
- large images show without widening WHOLE thread
- post formatting (behind scenes stuff to help format some common post mistakes)
- behind the scenes we are storing all dates in GMT time and I have not adjusted data to reflect EST -> GMT.
- You can change your settings for WHOLE site in Profile link at top of page.
- If you are on page 1 of a 3 page thread and all posts have not been read, forums will make sure only those posts on page 1 are marked as read (page 2-3 will still be marked unread until you go to them).
- Quick Reply box and Create Topic/Poll, Quote, Reply page box will autogrow when your post goes beyond the current size (this feature kinda worries me that it won't work nicely in all browsers).

Prob a lot more stuff I forgot about.

I am pretty sure there are bugs, errors. Please help us find them. If there are weird formatting issues, take a screen shot and post image.

I can't remember if I have noted this before: ultimateknicks.com is a part of something bigger that Andrew and I are putting together and this is part of the reason it's take so long.

In the future and not too far out: we will be adding a LOT more feeds into the site (Knicks related). You will be able to customize which newspapers/blog you want on the home page.

Further out: more than just the Knicks.

We just had to take care of the foundation first.

Looks fantastic. GREAT work you guys.

If I may be so bold as to mention a few things.

Please please pretty please can you figure out a way for it to go back to where you were when you clicked "login". Starting from the homepage can be annoying.

Please bring the closk home where it belongs.

Even without the closk, no "reply to post"?

Will there be "edit" and "delete post" buttons?

Wow looks really good almost as if I'm reading in HD!!!

Now if you can only have the site automatically delete posts that make no sense or anything that has Isiah or ToFarGonebury in it. Also any spin that has Curry contributing this year or Lebron coming to New York (unless he actually gets here). Nice job fellas!!!

hey i was just curious cuz u don't have that AUTOADVERT thing on these forums on every thread after the initial post... there's no way to move it down to the bottom of the page? just curious, i'm not a coder so i wouldn't know.

I disagree. I think the forum needs some life and some orange and blue Knicks colors in there. I don't think the grey represents anything really. It's not pleasant on the eyes. Plus we've had grey here forever and we've sucked. I believe in superstitions. Change the color a bit. Liven up the new forum.

Nice. I tried the youtube button and it worked. Like you said, it almost certainly has some bugs, but this is a very big first step. Thanks.
