Actually, his response is one more likely to come from someone with an inferiority complex. His self-esteem is fueled by the praise and acceptance of others. He has come to accept the idea that it is not the number of posts, or even their quality, which matter, but how his peers on UK respond to them.

This is a very sad state of affairs IMO... very sad.
