Well do you? 'Cause after this year he's bouncing out of Atlanta it seems.

Who we sign depends on the dominance of Wilson and Danilo.

I would. If we're able to get someone better as well.

Watching Atlanta and Joe Johnson play you wonder how he ever played in the 7-seconds-or-less offense.

He seems to slow it down at a Baron Davis - Hornets era pace.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Honestly, I just don't know. He is a great complimentary player but we are pretty set at ALL swing positions with youth in place. Now if he is going to play point and drop to a 15-17 pt. per game scorer and up those assists to 7-9, he could be possible. Remember he came to Atlanta as a PG in his first year.

Remember when Nomar turned down that money? He was pissed it was not Jeter money.

He'll be 29 next year. He is looking for that last deal.

I remember that!

I like Joey, but he would just be another Allan Houston for us...good enough for about 45 wins and whatnot

Joe Johnson is good a la Steve smith. He can look all world one game and blend in the next. I tjonl there is a reason pheonix didn't resign him. He doesn't fit the style. He wants to handle the rock.

As I remember it, Phoenix was willing to match Atlanta's offer if Johnson wanted to stay. They left it up to him and he elected to leave. But he made a serious mistake by not re-signing for the $60 million. Atlanta's recent offer was a good one plus he doesn't have to worry about losing his payday if he gets a serious injury this season.

I would love Joe Johnson on this team but he is not going to bring us a championship. If we could do a sign and trade and bring in Bosh AND Johnson, then I think we might have something. A team of Duhon, Johnson, Gallo, bosh, and Darko with Nate, Hill, and Douglas would be solid (I assume we would need to trade Lee and Chandler to get the deals done).
Trust the Process
