"Donnie Walsh said that the Knicks will have more 2010 cap room than any other club.

"We have the most room in the league," Walsh said. "That's good. We're No. 1.""

From what I just counted it looks like the Knicks will be at around 25 mil not including Nate and Lee. I don't know the details of how the cap works, but it looks like we'll have a ton of space.

I think we have the 2nd or 3rd most and we're only off by like 2 or 3 million. Donnie really needs to check with his cap guys before he makes statements like that though.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Donnie was napping way too long. Give him time to recover from the summer hibernating. Training camp is around the corner, things should get back on track pretty soon.
Knicks are happening and have a Unicorn.

He has access to the official numbers. The sources we cull from (hoopshype), are unofficial and use whats printed in papers etc. Why does everyone assume Donnie is wrong?

People think they know better than Donnie on all things BB related! The guys been running BB clubs for decades and we know better than him! So far he's been right on the money with all his moves. We have the guys we want at the price and contract length we wanted, the cap looks in great shape for the next 2 summers, so he's batting 1000 right now.

I do not assume Donnie is wrong. I am actually curious if Donnie has a trade he is letting simmer, or if someone like Curry or JJ have a clause in their contract that allows them to be cut if certain requirements are not met...?

Remember Donnie said he'd have an ace up his sleeve that not many people knew about?

Actully DW most likely right about us having the biggest:

CHICAGO - $18.10
HOUSTON - $7.55
LA CLIPPERS - $11.19
MIAMI - $22.12
MINNESOTA - 11.3
NEW JERSEY - $22.87
OKLAHOMA CITY - $14.54
SACRAMENTO - $7.62
NEW YORK - $23.32

Looks like pretty on-point article about it

The ace up his sleeve is that he's going to retire before the papers really start roasting him.
