just read the first sentence of his article and tell me if this sounds objective:

http://www.northjersey.com/sports/Knicks_bring_back_Lee_Robinson.html
After an off-season of little change, but lots of talk, the Knicks head to training camp next week with David Lee and Nate Robinson finally in the fold.

it will to some, but let's just look at the first thing he writes. the first two comments are about "little change" and "lot's of talk" like he's some kind of battered wife...sorry for the reference, but he is ridiculously catering to the angry i want a title tomorrow in the style of the 90's knicks crowd. he sounds bitter and not even nuanced in his approach...at all.

wait, presike...that's true!

okay, if you wish, but is that the most fair way to describe things?

if you spend every day, all day, trying to get a job to help you and maybe your family, and doing whatever you can do to so, and someone says to you...

"you're a lazy bum who doesn't care, because that's the only way it makes sense to me that people like you are where you are."

is that a fair way to describe your situation?

hence my point here...

even the way he describes lee's deal is misleading, as was the initial post here about his deal:
has agreed to a one-year deal worth $8 million that also includes incentives.

what??

why can he not just write something like, lee will get a minimum of $7 million, yet could earn $8 million if the Knicks make the playoffs. No, in Adamek's world it's better to make it look the way he wants..aka islefan style.

and in predicable fashion here's what he says about nate robinson a few paragraphs later:
That Robinson, who made headlines earlier this summer when he was arrested in New York for a fifth suspended-license violation, would return to the Knicks was never in doubt, his agent Aaron Goodwin said Thursday.

yeah, 'that robinson' is so terrible...better make sure i remind folks of how much of an "idiot" he is and how stupid of the knicks to bring him back for a fair price. the bitter old white male stance is SOOOO played out today i don't even know what to write to such a closed minded ignorant person as adamek seems to be to me in his writings.

should we ignore the downsides of lee and robinson?

NO.

but to purely focus on the aspects that show their "downside" is at least as bad, if not worse, because it means there is some kind of vindictive cause to undermine these men who have never shown us anything other than passion for being knicks.

it's little wonder no fans check his blog for the most part. i try to, but it's just not well thought out.

he should be replaced.
