it makes absolutely no sense for either guy to take the QO over a one year contract worth more, right? Sign Nate for one year $4M and DLee for one year $7M.

Probably because for both sides there is no urgency to get a deal done. I think you need to ask this question again if both are not signed by the open of camp

but doesn't a week to camp = some urgency? wouldn't the knicks want them there for media day and day one of camp?
Maybe they are trying some last minute S&T possibilities with Lee. If that is true then perhaps that is why Robinson hasn't signed yet. If they can move Lee then maybe they will want to ink Robinson? He is a better asset if signed to a reasonable multi-year contract than a one year rental.

its not that important (ok to lee and nate its that important) the team is easily moving on without them. minus two good role players will not make or break the knicks for 2009, or make a difference for the knicks 2010 future.

N8 is as good as signed (one year rental). Lee's agent is still probably working the S&T possibilities with a back burner deal as good as done with the Knicks. It'll happen this week one way or the other.
