I dislike him immensely, but there should be some good videos that night. How I wish we could be that competitive..

He spent his prime years in Golden State. I know he played a role in the heat's success in the late-90s but I dont think he is deserving of having his jersey retired.

they need SOMEbody in the rafters. they have no tradition, no real backround. 20 yrs ain't jack.

they sometimes try to use the old floridians basketball team as some type of backround, but there

was really no relatoinship between the two. i also think that it's amazing that they have a player

like wade, and still find it dificult to fill that stadium unless the team is doing well. the

fanbase sucks.

Its Florida....too much **** to do than study a nba team. People from Florida don't seem to get to exited about anything really except a good party.

Btw, Knicks should do a villian night, lol. not gonna happen but Tim hardaway was a serious Knicks killer. Hes right there with Reggie and Jordan. I think even less fans respect him though. Reggie and Jordan always gave us respect and we how them love when they come through. zo and timmy get the gas face!

I still remember when Tim Hardaway sacrificed his NBA Allstate Game starting spot so that Magic Johnson could start (actually he might have given up his spot on the roster so that Magic could play). I am sure Riley remembers that gesture and wants to reward Hardaway for that act as well as his years of service to the Heat. Tim Hardaway was a really good player who would have been even greater if he did not lose two seasons to knee injuries. It is questionable whether he is deserving of the honor, but since really only Mourning, Hardaway, and Glenn Rice (and in the future Wade) could be mentioned as possible rafter candidates for the Heat, it is understandable that they would honor him, especially with Riley there.

Good player not great, for the Heat. I wouldn't give it to him. And I love his game.
