FUCK YOU DONNIE DARKO
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

really don't care.

guy's got some pretty major issues going with his nba career.

showed it in utah. showed it in the sl this year as well.

really not enough of any skill set to warrant pt. not enough to just be a good shooter. you gotta be a good shooter in the context of game action. not easy at this level.

I hear ya. Houston was great because he could nail that jumper with guys in face and draped on him. Far as I am concerned hitting the open jumper in the NBA is right up there with hitting a hanging breaking ball in baseball. Sure... sometimes you miss, but most guys at that level should be able to make you pay for that.

While I'm not worried, I was one of the few who thought Almond has/had some potential. No big loss though.

Yup. Much to my surprise, he's not that athletic at all & has a severely limited skill-set. No big deal at all. Orlando's gonna find out now. Hey he can shoot the ball though..I wish him well..

You guys are crazy. Donnie dropped the ball. You'll all be singing a different tune in June when Almond is hitting big shots for the Magic.

Walsh could still redeem himself... By signing Walker Russel Jr.

LOL?

Rodney Carney would've been the perfect addition for us right now. Better than Pavlovic, and much better than Almond - Carney has infinitely better skills than Morris Almond. The Sixers got this guy for a steal at $900,000. Sorry $855,189, I just checked Hoopshype. Unbelieveable. I demand an explanation from someone within the organization as to why a guy like this was never considered an option for us.

the MO on Carney is that he has a flash dunk every once in a while but gambles on D, is a streaky shooter, can't pass, poor ball handling skills. 42% FG shooter.

What's to like?

Again, Chandler, Nate, Douglas, Hughes. And we know that MDA likes a short rotation.

Guard deprived Twolves let him go for nothing.

Why do YOU want him on the Knicks and how does he fit in?

Every interview since summer league a Knicks official is asked who has impressed them and everyone from D'antoni to Walsh pointed out Almond.

No one ever said **** about Warren Carter but he somehow got an invite.

We don't want real players. We want scrubs who won't make the team.

Warren Carter did get mentioned, but his play and professionalism got him the invite.

Also agree with what you elluded too, Martin...Knicks have a logjam at the swingman/shooting guard position. Almond wasn't gonna play.

Will Warren Carter play? Well if Lee isn't signed then the Knicks could use his body especially for practice purposes.

Btw nobody cares Skita didn't reach his dream?

not only wasn't Almond going to play.... but maybe Almond himself wanted to go to Orlando.

Another thing about Almond....if the Knicks retained him, how does that help the kids career? If the dude signs with Orlando and makes their squad its better for him...and did almond really out play Joe crawford?
