I am scared Dolan will resign Dice for a big long term contract. This time with no insurance policy.

I like dice, but I think he would look nicer on the Mavs for Jamison straight up.

Or if we need the cap room, let Dice walk. If we are to cultivate new talent, we need roster space and playing time.

I would like to see a deal that could bring Shane Battier to the Knicks, and have KVH come off the bench.

Laydog gotta move Ward if he can't move Eisley.

Laydog must be looking for a 3-for-1. Can't keep them rooks on IR all year! Free Lampe!

Thats a really funny Thread Header. Still laughing.

I agree. Dont sign Dice and clear cap space. Definately clear cap space and PLEASE LIGHT THE LAMPE!

I sitll dunno about Jamison but Shane Battier does sound interesting. What I like about him is that he is the perfect team mate and a perfect voice in the locker room.

Lampe is 18 years old. He is 18 years old, his name is not LeBron, and he shouldn't play any major minutes this year. He is a project that is two years from any significant contribution. Look at Darko, granted he's on a better team, but he was the #2 pick... and he's not getting any burn. Express your opinion, but be realistic.

after watching lampe in the summer league, the guy has talent, needs to drop some weight, increase speed, endurance, stamina, and defense.

all that being said, the guy has serious potential because of his height and frame (he much bigger/broader than most other euros - Gasol/Dirk/Peja).

if he were a little faster...

But he's not! He has to wait his turn
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

My gut says Lampe is years also, BUT... one thing he did that holds some merit is he made HUGE adjustments in the summer. This guys was as bad as you can be in the first 5 in Bos, then he made adjustments and was all-NBA in Denver, and rated one of the top 5 players in that league.
Look, the summer league competition is just that, summer league. But he did show he could make huge strides in a short time, and he did it against guys who are 21-24 on the average.

Lampe is a good player. Needs a few years and playing time would help. Maybe not this year but I would rather not see FatSpoon, Eisley and Othella on the floor.

rain: Lampe doesn't have to get 20 mins a game. I would just like to see him play 3 mins a game like Mike Sweetney. A little this year a little more next year but he definately should'nt rot on the IR! I think thats realistic.

Are you trying to say that he is not getting his mins as a knick or YOU are being unrealistic now saying Sweetney will get traded?
