well, this summer went by quick but without leaving an impression. here are some summer memories that i came with using categories:

best movie: district 9- great sci fi movie that wasn't overly original but had great story telling and cinematography techniques. very engaging.

runner up: the hangover

best song: house of flying daggers by raekwon, ghostface, method man and inspector deck- wu is definately back with the haunting production and kung fu theater refrences. very good song.

runner up:death to autotune by jay z- hova did his thing!

guilty pleasure song: wasted by gucci mane and plies- awful rappers but the beat is mesmorizing

biggest sport story:yankees are back! though i am a mets fan, i have to give respect where it is due

runner up: mets season and woes. never saw a team with this much bad luck except well, the knicks

biggest storyline: healthcare town hall shenanigans

runner up: the death of the king of pop
