Ramon Sessions, for some reasons isn’t getting a lot of love around the NBA and obviously it’s prudent for Walsh to make the best offer at the lowest price and try to steal a talent young point guard.

Sessions does a number of things well, including three thing you want from you’re point guard, penetration, distribution and shooting a high percentage. He has good size and also a year in the league under his belt and is the same age, 23 as Tony Douglas.

He has been give inconsistent minutes for whatever reason. Let’s just say we want him to be a starter and we give him 34 minutes a night. Below is game log when he has gotten 34minutes or above

This isn't Jared Jefferies. Ramon has talent and loads of potential and you could make the case that he is practically a rookie if Douglas is going to get a rookie pass for this season. Teams always need PG's at the deadline we could always move duhon or play him a little at the off guard every now and again so he gets close to 20 minutes a night. But it's going to be a huge mistake not to bring this kid in.

I am totally with you on this. We need an upgrade at pg and Sessions is it. He is probably a better passer than Duhon and is certainly better than Nate. Unlike Duhon, he can penetrate and break down the defense. He is a better scorer than Duhon and on par with Nate's scoring ability (Nate might be a slightly better scorer). He seems to keep his turnovers down and his shooting percentage high, which is a major accomplishment for someone who supposedly cannot shoot. This kid is about one summer of 500 shots per day from becoming a top-12 pg.

BTW, is Felton signed yet?

Strange year for some talented players.

I like Felton 100% more than I like Sessions.

We can get Sessions cheaper and I think Felton has maxed out his potential. Sessions still has a chance to become much better.
