They have us at #13 ahead of only the Bucks and the Swamprats.
It has been a strange offseason in New York, with doomed bids to sign 1995 co-rookies of the year Jason Kidd and Grant Hill, a field trip to witness Eddy Curry's waistline and endless negotiations with free agents David Lee, Nate Robinson and Ramon Sessions. The reason, of course, is the summer of 2010. In the meantime …

As presently constructed and especially with D'Antoni as coach, I just don't see how the Knicks are going to be as bad as 13th. I think as of right now they can be contention for that 8th seed.

D'Antoni can't go on the floor and shoot the ball for them or play defense for them. He's a coach not a miracle maker.

Have we not seen the same article for almost the past 10 years? Maybe not I don't know how long they have been doing predictions but every year the predict the Knicks to finish among the worse, Knick fans disagree, and in the end the Knicks still finish among the worst. The Knicks contend for the 8th spot all the way till the end of Feb and it's back to business as usual.

Sorry I'm like a dark cloud hunting this message board lol.

Espn hates the Knicks...but they put us low hoping they get proved wrong. Knicks are more fun to talk about.

Knicks have a lot of wild cards but if everyone comes in ready like everyone did last season then I expect to toy with .500 going back and forth all season.

Harrington, Wilson, Hughes, Gallo, Darko, Jordan Hill, Curry, Nate and Lee....the rotation is set believe it or not...if cats come to camp ready??? That team could suprise.

their prediction is fair like it or not. We had a good start and were a better team last year with Zach and Crawford.

We are the same team as last year PLUS a Curry that can contribute, a healthy Gallo and rookies Hill and Douglas. How many more wins does that equal? Maybe none.

This year = player development and team cohesion. I don't give a rats ass about W/L although it would be very nice to screw up the draft pick we won't be making.

I'd say 38-42 wins and (remotely) an 8th seed.

35 wins. 5 games out of the playoffs.

The Knicks didn't have to get lucky in 08 they just needed to not take a risk on a guy that wasn't as known or talented as some of the guys that were taken later.

the espn people r out of touch they dont know how great the knicks will be at all, they dont respect gallo, chandler, harrington, darko, douglas. they dont respect at all. this is why i never watch espn because until they show me and the knicks some respect i will watch it.

If NBA teams will be made of robots you will be right.
But players are people and waht they feel is much more important for the success that any kind of valid bisines considerations.
