My gut says "Yes". Could be wrong, but I think we will know in the next day or so. Here's to hoping all the back and forth in the media has been about managing the smoke screen. Star players like t-Ricky find ways to get where they want to be.

It looks like what we're seeing is what we're gonna get maybe give or take Ramon Sessions.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—Timberwolves president David Kahn says Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio(notes) has backed out of a deal to play in Minnesota this season.

Kahn says the Wolves negotiated a deal on Saturday night with Rubio’s Spanish pro team and agent Dan Fegan to bring the 18-year-old to Minnesota this fall.
FILE -- In this June 25, 2009, file photo, Ricky Rubio(notes) takes questions in the interview room after being selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves as the fifth pick in the first round of the NBA basketball draft, in New York. Timberwolves president David Kahn says "no team in any league has reached a deal" on a buyout for Spanish point guard Ricky Rubio.

But Rubio informed Kahn on Monday night that he would prefer to stay in his homeland for two more years to better prepare himself for the NBA. Kahn says DKV Joventut has agreed to trade Rubio to Regal FC Barcelona, where he will play until 2011.

Rubio was the fifth overall pick in the recent NBA draft.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I dunno how he got away from that other retarded buyout....and still sign a 6 year deal somewhere with a buyout in 2 years....yet he is nba draft pick supposedly fighting for the chance to play this year in the nba.....

Tired of the bull****. Who cares about him now??? Kahn is an idiot.
