According to Johnny Flynns twitter....something big is going down in Minny before weeks end.
The rumored trade according to Jerry Zgoda's twitter account revolves around David Lee.

Aw man...you should hear what the Wolves blogs are saying....this is priceless.

Really? Is that because he just signed a 6-year deal with Barcelona and will only be able to get a buyout after 2011?

If this is because of those news, then all the Knicks have to do is trade DLee and/or Nate, no guys actually under contract like Chandler.

Rubio just signed a 2 year contract with Barcelona... not the rumored six. He'll come in 2011, assuming that there's no lockout

My fingers are crossed that Flynn is right about this. We may have to wait the two years, but it will be worth it. Is there any possibility that the Knicks, with rights to Rubio in hand, can re-open the buyout with DKV before the ink had dried on their deal with Barcelona?

Stranger things have happened and I can see Stern doing whatever he can to put t-Ricky in a NYK uniform asap.

If we can get the rights to Rubio for Lee, straight up, it would be a great summer for DW, and would certainly justify his patience. It's not like he passed up every good opportunity. He could never have known Ricky would slip to 5 in the draft. The only "mistake" one could remotely attribute to him would be losing the opportunity to dump JJ's deal.
