Sounds like quite an ego is developing.

I dont think this was an ego thing AF. She rghtly has a beef that people dont respect her as an individual. The fool asking the Q actaully says what does your hubby think, like its more important then what the SoS of the US says.

Im with Hillary on this, and I cant stand the woman.

BTW, is it me, or has she gotten huuuuuge!?

Well it's understandable, but you got to remember. Her hubby happened to be the president of the United States very recently. I think she should have entered the world of politics (Being the NY senetor and then the SOS) realizing that people are going to be curious about what the former president thinks and she's the easiest way to get that info. Yes, it's wrong. I AGREE with that. However, it was bound to be like that and anyone could have seen that and she definitely should have understood that.

And I agree with this too. She could have easily just said "Well I can't speak for my husband, but that's a great question for you to ask him the next time he speaks publicly."

She could have handled it better, but I don't blame her for being annoyed The question was something like "What does Bill Clinton think, through the mouth of Mrs. Clinton".

She should have said something like "I don't know what Bill thinks, but here's what I think.". Then you go into yours spiel.

That's how Bill would have handled it, lol.

I'm not the biggest fan of Hillary but I think this worth pointing out.
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, visibly moved by first-hand evidence of the brutality of war in eastern Congo, yesterday delivered an impassioned appeal for action to end rampant sexual violence she called "evil in its basest form".

Mrs Clinton announced a package of $US17 million ($20.6m) in aid to respond to an epidemic of rape and other sexual crimes directed mainly at women and girls by government troops and rebels fighting in the region.

Her offer came after a harrowing meeting with victims of violent gang rapes in a crowded refugee camp on the outskirts of Goma.

"It is almost impossible to describe the level of suffering and despair," a shaken Mrs Clinton said afterwards. She toured the Magunga Camp, a dust-choked warren of tents and tin-lined huts, listening as officials and camp residents described the horrors of gang rapes and a litany of deaths from malnutrition, malaria, tuberculosis and diarrhoea.

The story is that the translator messed up the question...The translation was mangled and the question came out offensive.

That was conveyed after the Q&A sessions so who really knows what the student's true intention was

im all for helping the world and using $'s to do so, but it appears that the US sometimes seems more intent on solving international people problems rather than focusing on them domestically. we want to be perceived as a humanitarian country but some of the world's most attrocious anti-humanitarian acts happen on our own soil. just throwing it out there...is it time to adjust our gov't spend ratio to fix our own backyard first?
