At the beginning of the week there was an article about Frank Williams. Frank said he was ready to start. When the question was asked to Dan Chaney about making a change his response was....we have only lost 1 game on the road trip...why change? Well, that one loss has turned into 5 striaght and still no change in sight.

Frank is getting less and less minutes with seemingly a shorter and shorter hook if he makes a mistake. It seems his play has regressed with the lack of playing time. Also, most of his minutes seem to be at the 2, where he has to guard the other teams shootinig guard...a far more difficult task.

Why not give him a go for 5 games to see what he can do? Doleac played well with Frank and IMO it was because Frank got him good open looks that he could knock down. Notice how Doleacs production has been way down lately? Wouldn't Dice benefit from some easy close to the hoop opportunities created by Frank driving into the lane to build his confidence up?

Don't think anything is going to change before Wards buyout in January, but I can only hope.

Yeah....Chaney has too many peices to work with. The Knicks need to get rid of players to make it easier for the coach to make decisions....or get a coach who can handle the team in its current state.

Addition by subtration.

Soon it'll be too late for a deal to make a positive impact. IMO Chaney really must go. He's been around long enough to not get so many "rookie coach" type passes. All he has to do is put the players in the game who can win the damn game. Is it just me, or does everyone see the same problems with his rotations? Chaney has yet to maximize what he has even on this flawed roster. Play Frank Williams. I want to see Frank start!!!
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Chaney should be winning more games. All those players and flawed teams do not mean the knicks have this bad a record. There is no way around it. It is Layden and CHaney's fault and they have to go.

I'm not sure Williams is the answer - but I would definitely like to see some kind of established rotation. I must admit in the past I would get frustrated with Riley and VG for playing such short rotations - but this constantly changing rotation is MUCH WORSE.

Thomas, Van Horn, Mutumbo, Dice and Houston should be in the rotation.

Pick 2 of the three point guards.

Anderson deserves to be in the rotation that's eight.

IF Mutumbo is tired - give Doleac some play.

IF someone is hurt add ONE guy to the rotation.

Players seem to play better when they have a consistent role and team work improves. In the NBA there is not a lot of time to practice - so a lot of the learning to play with team mates occurs in games. Less combinations - leads to quicker learning.
