TLover I wasn't getting at you bro. You thinking of August 10 as a possible day for a deal to be made just proves all of our frustration...we are trying to find and out.

D-Lee, Nate, J-Will, Sessions, Tinsley, Stackhouse, Von Wafer...even Iverson has been tied to the Knicks.

Christ almighty...its already August 6th. All I do is refesh my browser all day looking for relief. Hoping for something to happen...it's like waiting on babies...or waiting for your bonehead kid to call you cuz they didn't come home in time for curfew...or your significant other isn't home at the usual time and didn't call...you get the idea...

This is some bull**** man....I mean how many Teddy Bears have to die before the Knicks make a freakin move?

I mentioned yesterday that we all were mad at IT's moves, but the one thing you can say in his favor was that you were never bored in the off-season. Something was always happening. Walsh's style takes some getting used to, but I still say it does not take a month to decide if you want to sign Sessions to an offer sheet. I mean, the Knicks should have been looking at him since May as a possible target. I don't recall any other team in the league taking a month to decide on whether to sign another team's FA. You might slow drag with your own FA, but most teams make a decision either yea or nay regarding a RFA from another team within 7-14 days. IMO Walsh takes a little too long to make moves. Pulling the trigger on the Nate/Jeffries deal would have really freed up some money this summer, but Walsh dragged his feet on that one. Hopefully, we can slooooooowly fall into a good deal this summer, because I think the team needs one more solid move if we intend to make the playoffs (which should be the goal since we don't have a draft pick anyway).

we'll only know if he dragged his feet too long when we see what happens. six or seven weeks to go before camp opens. a bunch of guys around the league still un-signed, including allen iverson.

if walsh waits too long and we lose out, his strategy was incorrect. if he waits and gets his guys, whom i believe are dlee and sessions right now, he's had a great great great off-season and probably saved millions on the 2010 cap by waiting.

patience hurts, but it's the best tactic right now.

The reason DW is taking his sweet arse time with the offer sheets is that he is trying to dump a contract. If DW thinks he can get rid of Fishlips or Burger Boy then I am happy to wait however long it takes. There are no other suitors for Sessions or AI, and until there are, DW would be stupid to auction against himself.

He is doing this right, which means Jimmy "The Brat" Dolan is not hounding him to "do something" just because so many fans are getting itchy under the collar. More power to him. New York is a really hard city to be patient.

I concur. Besides, the players to be had aren't exactly exciting, so I don't see the rush to acquire any one of them. Clamoring for the signings of Sessions, JWill, Iverson, Tinsley, Stackhouse, CJ Watson, Wafer, etc - have we lost our minds? We're getting impatient with Walsh because he hasn't inked one of these guys? Really? WOW...is all I can say.

If that is what is out there then retain Nate and Lee and move on. See what Hill and Douglas can do. Call it quits on the summer of 09 sans dumping FishLips or McCurry.
