David Aldrige spells out what the owners want... basically, they want a lock out. with this news, i can't see a single guy like Bron or Wade leaving their home team next summer and taking less money from an outside team. the new reality will mean they can get so much more than ever from their own teams. and it means summer of 2011 will be LOCK OUT CENTRAL. we'll get to use our cap room, but only see our shiny new team play one season. sigh.
With the caveat that a wish list at the beginning of negotiations is just that, and that both sides will certainly have some give in them before a new deal is done, the source with access to the owners says they have several other significant changes on their agenda going into the negotations, including: http://www.nba.com/2009/news/features/david_aldridge/08/04/aldridge.labor/index.html ¿ △ ?
