i almost gave up on it midway through the 1st season since it was a sappy teenage level love story but i'm glad i hung around b/c now it's just weird with all these wicked monsters.

so where the F is this show going?

sookie and jason are idiots.
bill compton is a boring fool.

but all the other characters are stepping up in the intrigue level.

i'm guessing there's a war about to go down between the vamps + humans but i'm more interested in the shapeshifters and the horned god devil chick and her orgies...

I would like to see them kill Sookie and Bill off the show - Sookie is annoying as hell and Bill is the worst actor ever.

The rest of the cast is ok - I agree there will be a war and I think it starts next week. The show is pretty stupid but there is nothing else on. I am pissed they killed off the hot shape shifter, she was nice eye candy.

lol. sookie + bill are the worst actors in television history. and you're right, there really is nothing else in this type of genre. they need to up the hot girl quotient. the ratio of hot girls naked to dudes naked is quite poor.

I hate how it takes them so long to develop a story line - they wait 5 episodes to get into something and by then I have almost lost interest. HBO is notorious for this, they did it with the Sopranos.

Have you watched Hung at all?

Is the show worth watching? I just got through The Wire (twice) and need something to fill the void. I heard True Blood was worth watching but it seems like people are into it just because it's different. Anna Paquin is hot so I may watch just because of that

yeah, watched hung also. popcorn show but amusing none-the-less. but nothing will ever live up to carnivale. that was my favorite and i cancelled hbo when they didn't renew the show. now i just watch these shows online immediately after they air.

hung is good so far. the concept is hysterical. i started watching it a few weeks ago and glad i did.

as for true blood. entertaining show that is just starting to get good. the woman who trns into that beast is wicked man.

Sookie is getting annoying but the show would not be the same without her. I also agree that the actor playing Bill is not going to win any Oscars anytime soon. But still True Blood has become my favorite show. I wish Tara would get naked. She is the only character that does not do full nude.

yea she was. i like the show, just dont like sookie when she speaks. it is starting to get good.

It was a good shot but tara was not naked last week. She had her skirt hiked up but she was had her clothes on. I think all the other woman have done frontal nudity.

well, i think this is the best show on tv this summer but that is not saying much. i agree that sookie is annoying and should be killed off.however, the show is MUCH better this season than last. i like the different storylines and it was smart for them to take the vampires to dallas so that "devil" can send the town into chaos. sam was an interesting character last year but right now he is by far my favorite character on the show. he stepped up big time this season. each show makes me want to see the next and with the previews they show, they do not disappoint with false advertising or let downs like the sopranos and oz used to do. they deliver the goods. this is twilight for adults and has a dark shadows quality.
