I'm trying to go from Woodside to Wantagh with the LIRR and I'm getting confused as to what I should do, what train I should take and if I have to transfer or not. Can anyone here help me? I need help to get there tonight.

Thank you sir but I had the map. I just don't know what exactly I take from Woodside, the train lines. And if I have to transfer to Jamaica to get to Wantagh. This is my first time using the LIRR.

never used it before either. i'd assume you're gonna take a train from woodside to jamaica and then from jamaica to valley stream, and then (maybe) another transfer at valley stream taking a train from there to wantagh. good luck!

No I live in Astoria. I'm going to Queensboro Plaza and transferring to Woodside to get to LI. I'm going to see a chick.

Going to see a chic??? Ah man...its getting late dude...see if you have to take a bus after you get off the lirr. Those buses sometimes stop running after a certain time....make sure you got cab fare too. Just in case. See if you can get a number for cab service when you get to ur stop. Never know kid, especially if this is your first time troopin out there.

Never traveled from woodside,not sure what the train schedule is like from there, but if you get in the E train you can get off at Sutpin Blvd. its a big LIRR hub. I used to work in Bellmore and take that train every day, pretty sure the local one leaves Sutpin blvd(Jamaica LIRR station) every 30 mins. You could go to LIRR site and find out exactly when there is a train from woodside to Jamaica, LIRR is at least twice as fast as the subway. Have4 un with the chic

I'll have to let my sisters, who were born in Nassau County, know about this. They never told me about this aspect of their lives.

Take the LIRR from Woodside to Jamaica. Transfer at Jamaica and you can get a train that goes to Wantaugh without another transfer. But it will stop at every town, probably starting Lynbrook. Goes pretty fast. Good luck.

The branch is called "babylon", it'll take 35 mins to get to wantaugh from jamaica

If he grew up Astoria, I doubt if he had any luck, so he will probably give you a tall tale.(not necessarily true if he is a "migrant" to Astoria.)

There's a train that obviously comes from penn station and goes to babylon. Woodside is one of the first stops Wantagh is a stop that's on the way. It's the stop right after Bellmore. It's the exact train I take to get home from the city.

Don't take the express though. I'm not sure if the express stops at Wantagh. Come to think of it, I'm almost positive that it doesn't.
