agreed. Milw lost a ton of money last year and were very open about saving money.

Not so fast, Chubby! A #Knicks source just told me not to expect a Sessions offer today, though, the Knicks still are considering Sessions.

QUESTION!

Can the Knicks offer... lets say 4 mil over 4yrs to Session and use the remaining 1 mil or so plus the Veterans Exception of 1.9 to get another player? (ie. Allen Iverson?-- Doubt that he signs for 2.9 mil for a yr though)

Is this a possibility?

you can split up the MLE over two players, i believe.

though the LLE is something like $2.4M... so it might make more sense to do that.

Is it really a done deal though? Wouldn't the Bucks match and just try to flip Sessions during the season for a TE? (Or perhaps a S&T with us now?) Sort of like what we might do with Lee, but not for luxury tax reasons. The Bucks have to be below the luxury tax threshold at the end of the season, not right now, so why the rush?

i really think it will be sessions for duhon if milwaukee can unload bowen for unguaranteed deals, which seems to be what donnie is waiting for. if they can't unload bowen, i think donnie just tries to outbid milwaukee for sessions.

That could work.
It helps take the pressure off of Jennings, but they still have another pg who could be Jennings Mentor for a year already on the roster... hmmm... (I think they want value for Sessions and it would be silly to not match).
If Sessions isn't really in their future and Jennings is, then having Duhon there for a year is a great deal for them. We would probably need to sweeten the deal some though. (As it would put them over the luxury tax level - That is bad - remember they are signing Warrick.).

If Sessions comes here I think he would turn into a 16pts 8ast 5reb guy. If given the mins Duhon got.

He may not shoot 3s well but he got to the line 4.5times in 27mins per game. Duhon got to the line 2.7times in 35mins per game.

We don't really have a strong back to the basket threat but we have a bunch of shooters. A guy like Sessions that will get into the paint with guys like Gallo, Harrington, Chandler, Hill, Hughes who can knock down 3s or 18fters is really needed.

Sessions also shot 44.5 from the field while only attempting 0.4 3s per game. I haven't watched him a ton but that tells me that either he has a good midrange game or he can finish at the basket pretty well. He also shot 42.9 from 3 last season while shooting the same amount of 3s per game at 0.4. So the 17 percent is from 3 is not truely accurate as 0.4 is not enough to base his 3 pt shooting on. 3 pt shooting also is probably the easiest ability for pgs to develop over the yrs. There are countless PGs and Guards in general that lacked 3pt ability for a there first few yrs then became 36-38 percent guys later on in there career.

We signed MDA so that we could have opporutnites like this to develop guys like him. Lets do it

PS. Hey tech guys my shift key on my keyboard isn't responding when I press it. What can I do to make it respond. Or is there another way I can get the symbols like the AT key over the number 2 or the percent key over the number 5 etc.....
