Yeah. This one is easy. No body is really messin' with the Lakers right now.

Actually, they're going to go back-to-back.

San Antonio might have something to say.

Lakers are definitely the favorites from the West - they have won a championship, upgraded their roster, and will be more than ready next year.

A *healthy* San Antonio is the best team in the WC--we'll see about that.

You know who I like for a possible upset in the playoffs this year though? Oklahoma City. I could see them getting a first round upset and then their inexperience catching up to them after.

I think Denver has already plateaued. Portland as a team is overrated but Roy is underrated... so we'll see if his game improves.

San Antonio, Brandon Roy, Oklahoma City (in the first round), and Ron Artest are the lakers biggest obstacles to getting to Finals. Still think the Lakers are in though

San Antone goes Tony P, FinDawg, RJ, McDyess, and Timmy D w/ Manu as 6th man and a bench of Roger Mason, George Hill, DeJuan Blair, Theo Ratliff, and Bonner.

LA probably goes with Fish, Kobe, Artest, Gasol, Bynum w/ Lamar as 6th man and a bench of Shannon Brown, Farmar, Vujacic, et al.

It should be very interesting.

EC has Boston (+ Rasheed and Daniels?), Cleveland (+Shaq, Jamario Moon, Danny Green, etc), Orlando (+VC, Bass, Barnes, who haven't these guys got) and I think Washington is a sleeper with Arenas, Miller, Jamison, Butler etc they got a ton of fire power.

as someone mentioned the Thunder are a definitely sleeper in the West. Denver still packs a punch.

Supreme Commander great point on the Lakers' top opponents being: San Antonio, Brandon Roy, Oklahoma City (in the first round), and Ron Artest.

Dallas will be a big time threat.

Dallas, NO, Lakers, San Antonio, and don't count out the Suns this season. They could get back on track quite easily.
