Found it on the other forum, don't know what it means.
Hahn just twitted it...

Mods, you can delete this. Guess Hahn said it in reference to a Sessions signing...

Nate is also in Greece, maybe they are working on a contract.

At least we still hold his rights if he wants back in the league (Nate).

He could be quite a draw in Greece.

I think (and hope) Nate is using the Greek card to spur the Knicks to make an offer or a S&T. For NAte to play in Greece would be a big comedown for someone of Nate's ability. I would expect he has more pride in his game and himself.

From a financial standpoint, if this is the best Nate can get then he should jump at the deal. He really should look out for himself first. In 2 years, when he comes back, then he can negotiate another contract.

Hahn is retarded. One moment he's saying that the Bucks will match any offer the Knicks have for Sessions. Then he's saying Nate's out the door and hinting a Sessions signing is going to happen.

So which is it?

I guess....whichever happens he can now claim he nailed it.

Seriously, I like Alan, but he has really fallen off starting with last offseason where he said no less than 3 times that a specific trade was imminent only to find out he either got wind of 3 month old rumors or that the teams never even talked. I mean, come'on, once that happens to you three times in a couple of months your credibility is SHOT.

Now we got this.

Knicks will sign Sessions.
then
Bucks will match.
then
Knicks will sign Sessions and Nate is out the door.

...whatever.

All that is plausible but until something happens give me a break enough with this frantic journalism trying to be first to get the scoop. That is in effect what Hahn is doing these days - rapidly reporting on any shred of a possible rumor even if it came from some fan on a message board if it sounds good. Just in case it happens, then he somehow makes out for being the first to mention it. All it leads to is shoddy reporting.

I'm done believing Hahn and as said, no matter what happens with Sessions or Nate, he's going to be right, because he has emphatically stated every possible angle as being imminent.

I can do that.

So can you.

He has a job again why?

Honestly Cosmic, I think you are taking everything that Hahn tweets as gospel and that is the problem. Most of the stuff he puts out on his twitter is opinion and speculation.

It's sort of the other way around. I recognize what he tweets is opinion or even worse the furthering of someone else's idea. I think others read what he has to say as gospel and further the idea that it's actual news.

He himself, and other journalists, really need to put disclaimers on certain things they say. When you're reading print it's tough to know what level of emphasis is being put out there.

He comes off as if he is stating fact when he's actually stating opinion. Well, to those who aren't jaded or skeptical people, it sounds like fact to them.

I would rather not hear anything at all if that is the case. We are fans waiting for something to happen, knowing something will happen, and these lunatics feed off of that and feed us their opinions and don't tell us they are just opinions, and they sit back and watch us assume they're facts or inside information.

Just not a big fan of that...but that's the business I suppose. Reading his stuff reminds me of reading any random trade idea thread on any random sports forum by any random person.

We look to these guys as being factual. They're no better than you or I throwing an idea out there, yet, again, they sit back and watch us read it and think that they're passing off facts.

If the Knicks get Sessions which is still up in the air that does not mean Nate will be gone. The Knicks still don't have a spark off the bench that can score immediately. We already know that Nate can score against real competition. If Nate is gone it is not because of Session coming to the Knicks it will be because the Knicks don't want Nate. When there was a rumor that Knicks were getting Kid there was no rumor of Nate being gone. Why would Session be the difference maker?

Should Hahn be using more question marks when he twitters?????????

I know that people have dismissed this because they may have better knowledge than I have of Harrington's personality and what he wants to do on a team, but in a perfect world, Harrington would be the ideal "spark off the bench" player. If his shot is off on a particular day, you limit the minutes. Just make sure he is not on the court in the last 5 minutes and you tell him not to attempt any dunks.

Harrington asked Bird to trade him off the Indy team that won 60 and lost to Detroit the year they won it all because he wanted to start. Not sure if he is the same guy but if he is I don't see him taking coming off the bench for a lottery team, especially in his contract year, too well.

Yeah, I don't know what to expect from harrington. I think he will play hard, he typically does and will most definitely give an effort during a contract year. I also think he was a good solider last year. He was moved to the bench for stretches last year and never once complained and never once let it affect his play or effort. But..........he does have a history, and this is a contract year, and he may feel unwanted by the Knicks. It's tough to imagine how he will respond
I just hope that people will like me

im pretty sure harrington will start and gallo will be the spark off the bench, at least at first.

He was much younger then, but unfortunately, you are probably right. He will probably be able to get only one more high paying multi-year contract during his career- so you expect him to want to put up some scoring numbers.

If Gallinari, Chandler, and Hill show decent progress during the year, Harrington might be a hired gun a playoff team might want, and maybe we can get something for him, assuming that Walsh has no plans for him after this year.

Harrington can ball no doubt about that. I just don't feel he is going to be benched. I think Mike D'Antoni wants to make the playoffs even though I don't think that can happen. That being said if the Knicks are to have a competitive lineup Harrington has to start. That's why I said Nate is the only real spark off the bench that can put up big numbers quick. Also if the Knicks want to trade Harrington they will have to play him as many minutes as possible.

If Lee is resigned don't expect to see Hill much next year. He probably will only get a few minutes next year to please the fans. Or Hill will get minutes when it is clear that they have no chance that they can make the playoffs. Also if Chandler plays good the Knicks will probably try to trade him again. No one is safe as far as the future of this Knicks team except maybe Danilo.

Hey don't diss Hahn....

if you have twitter you know that "N8 the Gr8 is officially out the door" was a continuation tweet...this is what he said before that...

"Sessions-Chandler-Gallinari-Hill-Douglas, that's your core. DLee? Still on the radar, but not on paper yet. And Sessions signing means..."

yeah so get it together meng....he was just getting all swoll like the rest of us......he's excited that the signing could go down and the Bucks might actually not match it.
