Is television programming, not television technology, as we think of it in 2009, a Good or Evil to Man? How much television do you watch a week? What shows do you never miss? Or, how little do you watch? If Evil, can television ever be salvaged? I watch none except from an occasional sporting event or a documentary on big cats.

Asking if TV is good or evil is just too rudimentary of question. There is good and bad and it largely plays off the viewers biases and pleasures.

Whats up with conservatives obsession with TV, btw? They always want to whine about it and use it as a scapegoat for all ills. Well, TV and the New York times.

Agreed on every word. I was actually going to say Fox Noise was evil too. There's a lot of good and bad effects of TV. Life is about shades of gray!

You can't make a THING evil. It's what the people put on that thing, and all they are doing is trying to make money in an entirely fair way. And a lot of people fall for it and watch it for hours and hours a day. Is that the tvs fault or is that are fault for wanting to view the crap they put on it? I would say it's our fault.
