He's all youtube highlights--he wont be much of anything in the NBA---plays out of control. I admit it Gallinari was the right pick--he has the fundamentals and clearly will be the superior player.

Anthony Randolph?

Poor man's Charles Smith. Very poor mans. VERY VERY poor mans version. He just does not have that fire or desire.

It will be good for your soul. He's not here, he's not going to be here. Wishing he was here is not going to make him be here. Trust me you'll feel much better if you just let it go.

or there's always Donnie's "Plan B" - 2014 / capspace. Curry/Fishlips/Gallo will be gone by then. This will be the year of AR.

I kind of feel flattered to be mentioned in a post. Makes me think that I have "arrived" in some sort of sad and pathetic way.

He is ready for the Hall of Fame, Mr. B. Scoring 40+ points in a SL game pretty much guarantees it.

I only react to your crush on him when you talk of enshrining him with the immortals of the game before he accomplishes anything in the NBA.

By the way, should Curry be dumped on because of his SL game tonight? Should he be labeled a scrub or bust because of 3/15 (and less than 32 FG% so far!) from the field and 4 turnovers? Should we call Thabeet a total flop- for his career- because of his SL play so far?

You can't go game by game when judging any player, and SL is surely not the place to make a name for yourself based on a few games.

Randolph can be a good and even a great player, but he'll need an extended body of work to go by before he is considered to be "great." He seems like a good, but sometimes immature kid, and he obviously has amazing ability. Why not let him do something before we deify him. If he becomes the player you think he will become, good for him, but you are not a teenager, Briggs, so you know that greatness comes over time and through significant achievement, and that having great talent does not always make you a great player.

ADDED LATER: By the way- it is "hey," not "hye."

First he has to get over the Knicks not taking Amare Stoudemire in 2002.

My "bust" call on Griffin took a big hit when he canned a trey in his first SL game. I'll still stand by it...
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

griffin is definitely not a bust. only injury will prevent that guy from becoming a 20/10 automatic impact player. (or the curse of the clippers either way the talent is there)
