It would involve trading JASON TERRY & TERRELL BRANDON to the KNICKS for a package of KT, VRANES, SPOON & EISLEY. How this works for both teams ?? ATLANTA benefits with VRANES rookie minimun 1yr contract, KT has a 1yr contract with good trade value, EISLEY can run the point and has a cheaper contract than TERRY & SPOON is a "throwin" to make the numbers work, plus they save money on the cap now with deal with a buyout or a trade !!! KNICKS need to get rid of FAT CONTRACTS !!! Yes we lose a rookie & KT but we have to to get rid of our waste like SPOON & EISLEY !!! We pick up a nice COMBO GUARD who can start right away & doesn't interfear with MILOS coming over because he can play the SG as well. For obvious reasons the trade is being held up but it just might happen !!!
What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

They are not giving up Terrell Brandon's contract. They dont want Spoons 3 more years either.

I read that already and it only suggests a few players that might be involved. From the way K9 posted it I thought there may have been an update to the report.

I see it works in the RealGM trade checker (#1325780)...

I doubt if they'll wanna move Brandon's contract. They will be be taking on longer contracts in Eisley and Spoon, which is the opposite direction ATL is trying to go capwise.

HARCORE is you think about if, ATL would do it because they want young stars or draft pics right ??? If you take that trade that gives them SHAREEF, RATLIFF & KT with 1yr contracts and all have value. Thats 3 possible trades right there & they could package an ALAN HENDERSON's horrible contract with one & still come out on top. They still need a PG so why not EISLEY, he will only have 2yrs left. The only problem is SPOON !!! But they have a better chance of trading SPOON with a RATLIFF or RAHEEM because of there value. We don't have that kinda value to assist in a trade

If they use that logic regarding Spoon and make the trade, it's better for us. LayDown would have made up for a couple of his biggest blunders (Spoon and Eisley) in the process...

man playa, I would usually go, me and two of my friends share season tickets, right there behind the Hawks bench, but I will be at my son's game tuesday, he plays basketball also in the 12 and under league. I wish I could be there so we could hook up, but let me know how long you are going to be in town....

BTW. as far as the Terry trade goes, I like terry a lot but Atlanta is looking to dump salary, that is why they gave away big dog for Brandon's contract, why in the world would they take on spoons and eisleys ugly contracts!!! ??? why???

If Laydog can pull that one, we should give him a parade.

Can we throw them a few mil for spoons contract?

And no "and they should throw in Milos to sweeten the pot...." talk.

Atlanta attendence is pathetic.

If you replace EISLEY's contract with WARD's contract it looks better for the HAWKS !!!

We could move one of them at least... IF we package them with someone like KT.

kind of like giving a dog medicine. Wrap it in a piece of cheese and they just might like it.

I love the trade becase it opens 3 roster spots for us. We can bring the rookies with us on the road! Remember, if we keep our pick and seduce Milos here, we need two more spots next year. Ward falls off the books. There you go. We can talk about so many players, but we don't have any room unless we can subtract.

Terry is a nice talent with a reasonable contract. Can give h20 some breathers and time to heal.
