There is the trade the knicks have to make. Thank god Layden didn't pull the trigger on Mo Pete. If we can trade anyone to get Terry we should do it right now! He makes less money than Eisely!

that would be an amazing trade but something tells me layden doesn't have what it takes to pull that one off. Some team will offer something more than just othello and garbage.

all atlanta wants are ending contracts, something the knicks have a couple of. they practically gave away glenn robinson for a retired terrell brandon and his contract. we could give them ward and doleac. yes, i would trade doleac for terry. to get terry would be the right step towards a youth movement and athletic players. i would start terry as point guard though. yeah, he does turn over the ball often ( something we do not need more of) plays no defense and has little court vision but he will be better than eisley. he avg. 7.5 assist a game last year. can eisley or ward do that for a full season? he can also play shooting guard to spell houston. this would be a good deal that layzie should be pursuing aggressively. i do not mind taking a big contract of a player that is young, promising and athletic. imagine two or three years from now a backcourt boasting juvanic and terry with frank williams off the bench. WOW.

If ward and Doleac works then it would be the best trade Layden has made yet. He should do it right away. He can play PG and SG and has good ballhandling skills.

Jason Terry is in the base year of his contract. That trade will be hard for a good GM to pull off, so that means it would be near impossible for LayDown to accomplish.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

What does DICK CHANEY & DON CHANEY have in common ?? They both accidentally fell into a job they don't deserve & really suck at doing it !!!! Both need to be fired !!!

Yeah I tried your trade in RealGM and it went through even with the base year deal. You get ya props for that. You will really get props if the trade goes down with the exact players.

Terry can be traded Dec 15th.

Ward for terry straight up?

That puts Frank Will lower on the depth chart.

Terry is a nice player. Id like to see a two for 1 and open up a roster sheet.

What does Atlanta want?

There is no way they will trade Terrell Brandon's contract which exppirers this year. THey gave Glen away because they wanted Terell contract. They are not taking Spoon's contract either.

The best case scenrio would be getting rid of Eisely and Shandon for Terry! That would be a pretty happy day in me life.

The numbers are way off for either of those scenarios to happen. Go to realGM.com and try those ideas thru the trade checker. That's what K9 did with his idea and it worked. I verified it myself.

When you do it, remember that Terry is a base-year player.
