The photo was taken in France, by the way.

France, if people remember, is the same nation where the wife and mistress of the late French President François Mitterand both stood by his casket at his funeral.

If you look at the picture, the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, also seems to be admiring the view.

Many Europeans see Americans as puritanical, from what I understand, and had a big chuckle when Bill Clinton was almost impeached.

Obama is in France, and simply following their manly custom of admiring beauty, for as the saying goes: When in France, do as the French do.
